Upon hearing Daniel's words, a serious expression appeared on Mist's face. She could sense that Daniel was not merely speaking casually—he was truly planning to kill the Void Worm Matriarch, an Ancient God Pantheon entity.

What Mist didn't know, however, was that Daniel's decision to kill a god had its reasons.
First and foremost was the human ascension ritual. Although humanity had grown to become a star-level species, Daniel still felt limited by their growth. Therefore, he had no choice but to continue pushing humanity to ascend further.
