In the face of Isabella's request, Daniel could only let out a light sigh before speaking seriously.

In fact, Daniel only brought up integrity because he had no other means to restrict Isabella.
Though it sounded somewhat ridiculous, there was some truth in it. Daniel and Isabella both had their own concerns, and each had something to gain from the other. They were both intelligent people, and in this moment of mutual interest, there was no need to escalate things into open hostility.
