Noah was alarmed a bit as he saw the serious expression of the head priest, but the next words of the priest surprised him.
"You were rejected? Can you tell me more details about it?"(Head Priest, Markus)
Hearing that, Noah explained about his class in the morning and the number of students in the evening that came a week ago. How he didn't want to completely lose his helping nature but also wanted to make use of his time to earn some money without sacrificing the knowledge and research prospects.
Obviously he didn't tell him about his goals in regards with power and authority.
