"Nolan, wake up. We've arrived at our first stop."
Evalyn's soft voice woke Nolan from his sleep.
He slowly sat up and asked weakly, "Where are we?"
Evalyn peeked outside and replied, "We're in the city of Arindel, about two hundred and fifty kilometers from the town of Virella. Come on, let's get off and check into some rooms. Tomorrow morning, we'll continue our journey."
Nolan simply nodded and stepped out of the horse-drawn carriage. Arindel was a fairly busy, medium-sized city.
It had a population of around 150,000, which was considered quite large.
There was nothing particularly special about the city, except that it was one of the most famous coffee producers in the eastern region.
"I heard this city has many different kinds of coffee. How about we try some?" Evalyn suggested enthusiastically.
Nolan wanted to refuse, but he held back when he saw how excited she looked.
"All right, but we have to find a place to stay first."
