Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: A Light That Never Fades

[EXT. EARTH – QUIET HILLSIDE – SUNSET]

The world had forgotten the battles fought beyond the stars.

The skies were calm once again. The oceans breathed in gentle waves.

Children grew up under a soft sun, never knowing how close their universe had come to unraveling.

Atop a lonely hill, a small house rested, surrounded by a garden blooming with every color of life.

Inside, laughter echoed — pure, real.

Haruto leaned against the porch rail, watching the sunset paint the horizon in gold and crimson.

Beside him, Airi rested her head against his shoulder, her hand lightly curled in his.

No crowns.

No thrones.

No worship.

Only love — real, and eternal.

> Haruto (smiling softly):

"Another perfect sunset."

> Airi (closing her eyes):

"Because you're here to see it with me."

On Airi's finger, the ancient silver ring gleamed softly — not with divine fire, but a quiet, steady light.

Around Haruto's wrist, the watch ticked — no longer a weapon, but a promise of every second they chose to live together.

They spoke no more of gods.

They didn't need to.

The balance they fought for had woven itself into the very fabric of the world —

an unseen melody carried by every breeze and every heartbeat.

---

Some nights, when the stars shone brighter than usual,

the children of the town whispered old tales —

about two lights that saved the universe.

No one knew their names.

No one knew their faces.

Just that two stars crossed paths again and again —

forever.

---

[EXT. SKY – NIGHT]

High above the quiet Earth, two stars sparkled side by side.

Not the brightest.

Not the loudest.

Just constant — together.

A love story.

A legend.

A light that would never fade.

A New Dawn: The Promise of Tomorrow

[A YEAR LATER — EARTH – HILLSIDE HOUSE – NIGHT]

Time flowed gently in the quiet world Haruto and Airi had helped save.

Seasons changed, flowers bloomed and withered, and under the same stars, a new chapter began for them.

Inside the warm little house, soft lights glowed...

and the laughter of a family echoed for the very first time.

---

[EXT. EARTH – HILLSIDE HOUSE – NIGHT]

Haruto and Airi sat together by the fireplace — but now, they weren't alone.

In Haruto's arms, wrapped snugly in a small blue blanket, was their infant son — fast asleep, his tiny chest rising and falling peacefully.

The baby's hair was a soft black-silver, catching the firelight in beautiful glimmers.

Around his small wrist, a bracelet of woven threads — white and gold — rested quietly.

> Airi (whispering, smiling tiredly):

"He's already strong enough to defeat us… with that cuteness alone."

> Haruto (chuckling quietly):

"Yeah… but he's got your heart. That's what'll save him."

They sat there — no gods, no wars — just a family bound by love.

A small coo escaped the baby's lips.

The fire crackled higher — and a tiny flash of light bloomed from the bracelet around his wrist.

Haruto and Airi exchanged knowing smiles.

They didn't speak of destiny.

They didn't speak of fate.

They simply held their son closer — trusting that when the time came, he would find his own path...

guided by the love that once saved the universe itself.

---

[EXT. SKY ABOVE THE HOUSE]

The view panned higher — above the sleeping town, through drifting clouds.

Two stars still shone, side by side.

And beside them — a new third star flickered into life.

Small.

Brilliant.

A new story waiting to be written.

---

The Arrival of the Absolute God

---

[INT. HOUSE – LIVING ROOM – LATER THAT NIGHT]

The fire crackled low.

Moonlight spilled through the windows.

Suddenly — the air shifted.

Golden ripples appeared before Haruto and Airi.

Standing within the glow was a tall, radiant figure — cloaked in shimmering white robes that defied mortal sight.

The Absolute God had come.

> Absolute God (voice deep and kind):

"Children of Light... it is time."

Haruto and Airi instinctively stood, holding their son protectively.

The Absolute God's gaze was soft.

> Absolute God:

"Your mission in the Mortal Realm is complete.

You must return to your true home — the Realm of Light."

Haruto's grip on his son tightened.

> Haruto (with determination):

"Five years.

Please... five years until he enters the School in this Mortal Realm.

He needs time — time to grow, to learn, to understand this world before he discovers his true identity.

He must learn that great power comes with great responsibility...

and that strength without compassion is just another form of destruction."

As Haruto spoke, a flicker of memory surged through him — vivid and sharp.

---

[FLASHBACK: Haruto's Misuse of Power]

Haruto stood alone on the school rooftop, years ago.

The watch gleamed on his wrist.

Around him, time froze — students suspended mid-motion.

A cruel, bitter anger had burned in him then.

The power had tasted sweet — intoxicating.

He had humiliated his bullies with pranks.

He had manipulated moments for selfish revenge.

The power had made him feel above them...

...until he saw Airi — standing quietly in the corner, watching him not with pride, but with sadness.

Her silent gaze had broken him.

It had reminded him who he truly wanted to be.

Not a tyrant.

Not a god.

A protector.

---

[RETURN TO PRESENT]

Haruto closed his eyes briefly, anchoring himself to that painful lesson.

> Haruto (continuing, softer now):

"He must never fall into the same darkness I once touched.

He must earn his strength...

with kindness."

Airi stepped forward, her voice firm and sure.

> Airi:

"We'll send the Fairy Matron and the Light Knights to watch over him.

As our friends.

As his protectors.

They'll raise him not just in skill... but in heart."

The Absolute God smiled, his form glowing even brighter.

> Absolute God (nodding):

"It shall be done."

The room filled with a soft, healing warmth.

> Absolute God (gently):

"Alarion... Lyria... take these five years.

Raise your son with all the love you possess."

Haruto — no, Alarion — bowed his head in gratitude.

Airi — Lyria — wiped her tears and smiled.

Their true names — the Light God and Goddess reborn into mortal shells —

had been hidden even from themselves.

Until now.

Their son, Lyrion, was the legacy of light —

the hope of countless realms.
