After dying due to the huge explosion at Mount silver, Red wakes up and sees that something wrong.
It's not that him being alive was the problem. More so it was the fact that he supposed wasn't to. His remains were supposed to be turned to ashes left nothing like a burn charcoal.
But no here he is alive and still kicking. Right now not only his life flashed before his eyes he was also reliving it literally.
The only thing he remember was the flash when the attacks collided and the next thing he knew was waking up in his old bed in his room in pallet town.
Pallet town was located far from mount silver and no human could've survived that type explosion, so he dismissed the idea of being in a coma. Even if he did survive miraculously he would for sure died of the wounds before the medicals assistance reached him.
His hands trembling made it's to his face and when it touch his face he could feel it the softness of the flesh. That's when he realised that this is not some kind of fucked up hallucinations before death but reality.
Wanting to find out what's going on he quickly exited his room and went downstairs. He knew something was wrong it wasn't that the stairs look a bit different but that it was all the more new. His room might've been the same but the living room was a bit different it was more spacious than before.
Red suddenly froze when he heard the humming sound coming from the kitchen. He turns his head slowly and sees a woman in the kitchen. This woman looked a bit similar like his mother she looked a bit younger and more appealing. That was not the only thing different about her it was also the hair it was dark blue.
Red staring at the woman slowly began walking backwards then started running towards the door.
It was hard to take it all in for him. The fact that he had been reincarnated was something he wasn't ready for. He kept running and running and running until he was exhausted. Breathing heavily he looked around notices a tree nearby a lake and decided to learn on it for a while. Breathing slowly he began contemplating the things before him 'Ok. This isn't a dream nor a flashback everything is a bit different. My mom, the house, the route all are kinda different. Just need to was my face before doing'.
He began walking towards the lake and starts to crouch down. When he saw his own reflection his eyes widened it was shockingly surprised that not only did his eyes changed but also his face was a bit younger than before. His eyes was red colour now.
Memories began flooding his mind it was the memories of the previous owner of this body. He sees the kid having no more less of an expression when his mother's being worried and other kids trying to atleast get along and know each other in his school days even during his bday his expression never changing.
As more and more memories began flooding into him he touches his forehead with his palm. The pain from the memories were all reliving in him until finally it stop. He began washing his face to cool his head for bit when he stopped begins thinking about the memories that he just saw 'Now that my head's clear I can think Clearly so, it seem like there was no previous owner of this body it was basically a soulless husk which was doing what it was being commanded. Well no matter since it didn't have an owner I shouldn't think too deeply about taking it after all it's not like I stole more so I was forced into it.'
"Let's see looking at the reflection I can think that this body is around 7 years old there's still lot more time before I start anything. The mother of this body from the memories also calls me red which is good I don't want another name at the moment." Red talks as he holds his chin walking around back and forth near a tree until he realised something from this body's memory "Oh.. i forgot that I went out without saying anything she might be extremely worried looking for me for now I'll just to back"
When he was about to go back he heard a sound from the bushes. And then out of the bushes came out a charmander. "What th-... 'a charmander near a forest that can be right while i wouldn't rule out the possibility of seeing a charmander in the wild but that's very highly unlikely' instinctively red's left foot takes a step back. Then out the trees came two mankeys ready to attack charmander seeing no way out began facing them, red notices injuries on charmander and the burn furs of the mankeys 'so it had been defending itself against these two'. As the mankeys charged towards the fire lizard and fire lizard uses smokescreen to disrupt their vision seeing this red went to hide near the tree. The mankeys were attacking air, due to the smoke they both hit one another and began fighting each other. Seizing the opportunity charmander uses ember to finish them off until it fall unconscious due the exhaustion.
Red came out from his hiding place and went near the charmander seeing that it was about to rain red took the charmander home with him.
When he reached home and open the door he saw his mother worriedly coming towards him and then she hugged him. "Where have you gone this early in the morning I was so worried" she cried out as she hugs him firmly it caught red off guard and he fidgeted uncomfortably in her arms. He hadn't gotten any affection for years during his search for the mythical Pokemon but now he had it was like a new feeling which was blooming in him. "Can you tell me what happened?" She asks as she breaks the hug. Feeling the tension rising reply "I just..i..umm.. oh I just wanted to see some Pokemons cause I had this crazy dream where I was a trainer catching many Pokemons" the woman stared at red shocked it was the 1st time he was seeing his son with an expression she then again hugged him out of joy and crying at the the same time.
After she calmed down red told her about the Pokemon he brought which was injured."Red i think you should captured it i mean if it was in the wild all alone it might not have a trainer and seeing that you saved its life maybe he'll take you as it's trainer. We should have a Pokeball lying around somewhere" she suggests a she went to the shelf to look for a Pokeball and some medicine "hah, found it here you go" she hands the med kit to red.
After taking the necessary healing items red went to his room where he began treating charmander wounds. As the orange lizard wakes up he sees red treating his wounds "finally awake I see". The charmander tried to show some resistance while red applying some medicine but it didn't had the energy to do so he just bear with it for a 2 days.
When the charmander the fully healed Red finally ask it to be it's trainer "will you join me on a quest to be the strongest, I'm still to young to start a journey but if we work together from now we will be unstoppable" red shows charmander the ball seeing red's determination in his eyes charmander shrugged and with a sigh touch the Pokeball and was sucked into the ball.
"I won't let you down buddy" red says as he looks at the Pokeball pleased.
