And then, after over 2 kilometers of running, Karolo finally reached the nearest train station, which is the Alles Station. It is a regular-sized train station in a town of the same name, which was a regular, small agricultural town. The station was simple and made of bricks, mortar, and light but durable steel. As the train pulled over and opened its doors, Karolo entered the station and saw the mildly busy activity at this time. Passengers got off with their belongings of a few types. Cargo cars were opened to get cargo, including even bulkier cargoes like cows, sheep, and bigger wooden crates. That last part stunned Karolo a lot. "What the…?"
Karolo then went to the cashier section to buy a ticket for himself.
"Good morning, sir," one of the cashiers greeted him. "Welcome to Alles Station. How can I help you?"
"Hi there," Karolo replied back. "Where is that train going after this station?"
"Oh, it will go to Darkhtan shortly after. Why?"
"Where is that?"
"It's in the Roque Province, Steein."
"Oh, within this country?"
"Yes."
Thinking about this, Karolo decided to go to that said place and will plan to move from there to a new place to settle down, just in case something comes up.
And so, Karolo did so, asking for the price of a standard train ticket to Darkhtan. "That'll be 2 Oros, please," replied the cashier to him.
"Oros?" Karolo replied back in semi-confusion.
"Yes, that would be the official currency of this country."
Because of that, Karolo checks his pockets and backpack for a wallet, and he finds so. It was his leather wallet from his previous life. It stayed the same, but its paper cash and Filipino Peso coins had been converted to Oros, the official currency of Steein. These are typically made of silver, gold, and platinum and have denominations from 1 to 100 in 10 different values. Karolo's Oro coins are numerous, totalling up to 5,000 Oros, which is heavy for his wallet. Karolo was stunned to see such good and unique coins and got 2 coins in 1 Oro denomination, before handing them to the cashier. "Here."
The cashier receives it and gives him the ticket for that train ride. "Here you go, enjoy your trip."
Receiving it, Karolo replied, "Thanks."
He then went up and proceeded to board the train, now while it was still staying in the station.
