Pre-Chapter AN: Hey guys its me Foul, before you read the chapter I think I have to clear up a few things with some changes to the Timeline, and some Retcons; Also the reason why I havent updated this in a while was because I was working on other stories and was sick for a few days, so if you waited this long I appreciate your devotion to this story.
#1: Theo was no longer reincarnated into Ninjago, he was born there naturally, but he has limited precognition and he is also aware of other things with a limited sense of Cosmic Awareness to know things such as watching things while not being in there in the present; Just to be clear though he is nowhere close to Omniscient, similar to the way Source Dragons experience time as explained in DR but sort of a lesser version.
#2: The Overlord is an Oni and Dragon hybrid (sort of) hence his similar abilities to that of Destruction and enhanced Garmadon's powers through the devourers bite, and by extension Lloyd when he was born which is what the Overlord meant that "Your powers were a gift from me" statement in Crystallized, Theo also has this same type of Destruction but he didn't get it from the Overlord, he can also use Destruction at the highest levels easily surpassing the Omega by miles.
To put this into more context since the Overlord is a Dragon and has dark powers in this AU he has Creation which was partially integrated into Darkness which is a power he made out of Oni Magic, he has normal Destruction but does not use it; This idea was inspired by Unknown_LifeForm and SnowyTheFurry18.
#3: Theo can use Oni Magic, Ordinary Magic, Good Magic, and Theroxian Magic; He is incapable of using Spectral Magic due to not being a Spirit, he cant use Djinjagan Magic due to not being a Djinn, and he just chooses to not learn other types of Dark Magic which he can use.
#4: Theo is more aware of the Mirror Realms than he was in "Theo's Multidimensional Makeshift" and can traverse them at will.
#5: Initially I tried to make this story more PG (in a way) but now it will be more mature like blood, swearing, slaughter, etc; You get the point the ratings just went up, this type of writing was inspired by SnowyTheFurry18 and SilverStorm8.
#6: Golden Power is no longer a combination of Creation and Destruction, this is an ongoing debate due to a Doc Wyatt statement that was never elaborated upon so I will just continue on the story with Golden Power being closely connected to Creation, and of course the other statement we have from Doc Wyatt saying Golden Power comes from all the Source Dragons moving forward in this AU.

[3P POV; With The Overlord]
A dark presence looms in a new area, not one of the underground sewers, but one of a pocket dimension cut off from the other world however this was not the Grasslands or the Oberlord's Void, this was somewhere completely different and for the first time in a millenia, the Overlord was afraid.
"Greetings Overlord" A dark presence spoke before materializing in the void right in front of the Overlord's astral body "Where am I, this is not my void?" He states with confusion and fear hinted in his voice "There is no need to be alarmed, my dark lord" It responds calmly "Wha– What is it you want?" He asks the being "There is no need to get to the point just yet, no, why dont we start with introductions: You can call me Umbralsage" It reveals, the Overlord is about to speak however Umbralsage cuts him off "I know what you are after, a way to get back at the Ninja and fulfill your purpose by corrupting the balance and truly winning; Do not worry I am planning to help you achieve that goal" Umbralsage elaborates.
"Why would you help me? I sense more power in you than anyone else I have encountered before, even more so than that strange one who protected the Golden Ninja" The Overlord questions "Oh trust me, you are not wrong about either of those things; Regardless I see all, well almost at least; Regardless I see that you made but one mistake in your pursuit of power" Umbralsage explains "And what might that be?" The Overlord replies "Going after the Golden Power" Umbralsage states.
"The Golden Power is the most powerful and dominant essence in existence, it helped dominate my powers and create entire realms, if I were to gain that power I would be nigh-almighty!" The Overlord claims "Ah so naive, you fail to see that there is much more to the powers of the Mirror Realms than you see" Umbralsage elaborates "Mirror Realms" The Overlord repeats Umbralsage's term confused "Ah yes, I suppose few know about them. To put this into perspective your Universe is one out of countless other alternate realities of the same universe, as well as countless other dimensions, what we call only the alternate versions of the same whole of "Ninjago" we call Mirror Realms" Umbralsage explains.
"I cannot understand this" The Overlord states dumbfounded with this information "Is this.. Really true" The Overlord honestly asks "It is; Imagine a world where another Oni and Dragon hybrid like the boy protecting Lloyd left the first realm only to get taken in by Serpentine and live out the ages as a forgotten Princess and later regain their honor, or imagine another one where you take someone's creation and convince them your their father and creator while corrupting them and bestowing upon them Oni an Dragon heritage as well, only to place them into another world and bing them back again for them to just betray you and go to the Lloyd" Umbralsage laughs off all those alternate realities.
"Ah yes, Lloyd the boy, the one constant in all the Mirror Realms; Acid, Akira, Theo, Nova Ocean. One of which worlds you find yourselves in, those four realms specifically really REALLY PISS ME OFF" Umbralsage goes into a state of near rage "Using all their power just to protect one insignificant constant who they would all be better without, all of them are imbeciles that they would all do better without which is why, for Theo at least: I came to you" Umbralsage adds.
Umbralsage brings out a vial of corrupted Dragon Energy "Golden Power is made up of the Four Elements Of Creation, and the combined power of all 7 Source Dragons, take these aspects and corrupt them nigh-indefinitely and you will get what I would like to call Necral Power, Necral named after Death and the End, when you awake I will have given you the vial you need, use it and put an end to Theo and Lloyd once and for all, do this and I will bestow upon you more power than you can ever imagine or even hope to dream of, do we have a deal?" Umbralsage says as he lends out his hand which the Overlord shakes deviously grinning "ITS A DEAL!" The Overlord says as he laughs maniacally and as he does, he awoke as a God in Dark Armour.
[3P POV; Elswhere]
After Lloyd and Theo got back safely and the Ninja managed to stop the Nindroid and Pythor from stopping them from rebooting the system, they began to celebrate, but to Theo something feels off "Hey Theo, are you alright?" Nya asks worriedly, "Yeah, you seem a little…" Cole tries to find the right words "Congested!" Jay says but Nya and Cole just sighs "Yeah, guys im fine I just feel a bit wary for some reason" Theo replies warmly to them "Well cmon, its not like the world is ending or anything, cheer up guys!" Jay says trying to lighten the mood but in that instant a huge explosion is heard and everybody turns to face Ninjago to see the damage it caused.
"You just had to jinx it, huh Jay?!" Cole says "How was I supposed to know this was gonna happen? And what about you Mr. Cake Face" Jay responds and the two get into a fight again "You knew this was gonna happen didnt you, thats why you felt so uneasy" Lloyd walks up to them and asks "Yeah, thats why" Theo confirms "Woah, can you see the future or something?" Jay asks after stopping fighting with Cole "Yes actually" Theo responds "Ninja, enough idle chattery, we need to go now!" Wu issues.
"This will be faster" Theo says as he snaps his fingers and brings out everyone in their vehicles driving and flying in front of "New" Ninjago City where The Ninja as well as Garmadon, Wu, Pixal, and Theo are speaking through their Comms "Uhm… How did you just do that Theo?" Kai asks "Yeah, I would like to know that too" Lloyd adds "We will talk about this after, whatever is here its immensely powerful okay?!" Theo says surprisingly angry "Look.. Im sorry, I promise I will explain everything after its just this upcoming battle weighs on me, this is a real challenge beyond what could have arisen here" Theo explains "Its alright, were all a bitt stressed out too, we got your back Theo!" Kai reassures "Yeah!" The other Ninja shot through the comms for reassurance as they pass through Ninjago City to the center "Thanks guys now lets go—" as soon as Theo says this he and the others are blasted by a powerful amount of energy which takes them out in one shot and annihilates their vehicles, while no one died, even Theo was having trouble getting up.
"W-What the hell?" Kai says confused and badly hurt "What just happened?" Jay adds just as injured, as everyone gets up they see the massive behemoth in front of them, the Overlord in a dark suit with a new type of power "N- No…. Is that Corrupted Dragon Energy?" Theo asks worriedly "Indeed it is, and now if you dont mind me..." The Overlord snaps and everyone but Theo and Lloyd are wrapped up in dark malevolent tentacles in the center of the city "I promised Umbralsage I would take you out, as I am a being of my word and more I would rather do it myself" The Overlord smirks as he does his own malevolent darkened shaded Spinjitzu Tornado withering everything in sight, luckily no people where nearby other than Theo and Lloyd, Theo's skin started to wither and peel off similar to the Decay Element but evil in nature, Theo took the radiation so Lloyd wouldnt and shielded him with his body "Lloyd go!" Theo says as he uses Shatterspin to create a shockwave sending Lloyd into the sky and far away from the Overlord but still into the center of the city leaving Lloyd right next to his friends "Fools, this will accomplish nothing!" The Overlord screeches at Theo, Theo is still wincing in pain decides to fight back.
Theo propels himself int the air and slams down his fists creating a massive wall of Ice covering the buildings center stopping the Overlord, The Overlord briefly stops before sending minions made out of shadows and pure malevolent energy phasing through the Ice and getting ready to attack Theo, Theo creates a sword using his Essence of Creation and covers his hands in the same Essence, Theo defeats the warriors with relative ease and the Overlord manages to get through "Ah… Shit" Jay says as he notices the danger Theo is in "Theo look out!" Lloyd calls out to him as Theo is shot right into the stomach and into the middle of the center of the city.
"Noo!!" Kai shouts "No, NO!! I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT MY FRIEND" Zane says as he miraculously manages to tap into his True Potential a second time and manages to briefly get rid of the tentacles and float in mid-air, Zane surrounds himself in Ice before appearing in front of th Overlord and blasting him "You fool, you cant defeat me!" The Overlord claims "Even if that were true, Ninja never quit" Zane states with determination "Your chances of survival are slim to none, you will not win!" The Overlord responds with confusion and hatred "This isnt about numbers, its about Family!! Go Ninja, Go!!!" Zane states once more and as he blasts him the entire city starts to freeze up and as Zane's life starts to flash before his digital eyes, he is seemingly incinerated "NO!!!" The Ninja, Pixal, Garmadon, and Wu scream, Theo felt guilt and blamed himself but did not scream nor cry, the mentality of the situation was more than enough.
The Overlord can be heard chuckling "Did you really think that would put me down? How foolish! Now, bow down to your new God, bow down to your Absolute Necral Master!" The Overlord commands, Theo then fully heals his wounds manually with Golden Power, and creates a weapon using Creation and Golden Power to form Chronosteel but this time capable of holding Elemental Essences as well as being enhanced on its inner rim to hold the power of Amber and to absorb whatever Power it touches instantly weather that be an Element, Essence, Magic, etc, as well as being enhanced with the strongest of Magic as well as some Dragon Energy "Enough is enough Overlord" Theo states as he flies up to the Overlord's Necral Suit and held on to its bladed edges, in that instant Theo unwillingly used Amber on the mech permanently replicating the Elemental Essence of Necral Power, in that brief moment his eyes turned as dark as ink before it quickly went away and Theo shoved the blade into the Overlord's chest "You fool, this will destroy both of us, not even you can handle this much Necral Power!" The Overlord states, Theo's left eye twitches.
"Are you sure about that?" Theo responds smugly despite being in immeasurable amounts of pain "I guess we will just have to go on and see then!" Theo issues as he puts all his energy into the blade and The Overlord screams "Go to hell you bastard!" Kai could be heard screaming in the distance to the dying Overlord "What he said" Theo said as he dug the knife into his chest and slashed out his stomach and his pseudo-organs as bright astral purple blood was gushing out, after such fatal damage to his physical body and the state of his power while in his body the Overlord simply disintegrated due to the power backfiring on him and his imbalance in energy and physical world stability, after that Theo collapsed to the ground and everyone was released, and all the Malevolent Energy dissapated into thin air, and then the others ran to Theo "Theo are you okay?" Lloyd asks "Yeah ill be fine" Theo replies, Jay goes close to the blade "Wait dont touch that, it ill corrupt you instantly" Theo warns "I wasnt gonna, I wasnt!" Jay lies and everybody cracks up but then they remember Zane "Im gonna miss that Nindroid, I will never forget the sacrifice he made for me" Theo states "None of us will, none of us" Kai states as Theo later falls asleep once more due to the energy he spent on the battle.
After everybody turned away a spirit of a woman with bright black hair and a white dress smiled and kissed Theo's forehead, Theo unconsciously smiled in his sleep though he was sure he would forget it all later "S- Saria your alive..." He said calmly, though once more he was sure to forget this as well due to it being in his sleep, was it real? Who even is to say any which way. A few hours later a statue was erected and speeches were made to honor Zane and his legacy, and then another presence which can be assured to be real looks over the Mirror Realm in satisfaction and awe, a seeming need to know more "I see going here wasnt a mistake then, I know this time things will work out perfectly, dont worry Theo your reality is in good hands now..." Umbralsage says and chuckles from above before disappearing from this reality, while Theo did not actually hear Umbralsage, he knew something big was coming and he should get ready to face it in the near future.
