Inside the Library
The door creaked open—
a sliver of light cut through the pitch-black room.
And into that darkness…
Noel stepped in like an angel—
…but her mouth definitely wasn't angelic.
Noel:
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHEN DID I BECOME YOUR WIFE,
MR. KING?!" 😤
Aaron blinked slowly.
His brain clearly lagged.
Aaron:

"What…? When did I say that…" 🥲
His voice broke, soft and wounded.
Of course he was confused.
Who would accept being called someone's husband and wife

Noel opened her mouth to scold him again—

She finally looked at him properly.
Red nose.
Wet eyes.
A history book clutched painfully in his hands.

Before she could react, the librarian barged in and flipped on all the lights.
Librarian:
"If your ROMANCE DRAMA is over,
can you two PLEASE leave?
I want to go home." 😐
Noel:
"Huh— NO! We're not— ugh, sorry sir." 😅
"Come on. Let's go."
She took Aaron's hand—
gently—
like she was holding something fragile.
The king let her pull him out, silent and obedient.
At Noel's House
Noel set the book on the small table.
Then turned toward Aaron.
He stood in the dim room,
shoulders drooping,
eyes empty…
Like a lost child abandoned by the world.
Noel: "…Mr king Aaron." 🙁
He looked up.
A tear fell.
Aaron:
"I… I don't want to go back." 💔
His voice cracked.
A royal omega king—
