As Xilian was taking over the entirety of Outertale, we get back to the Omega timeline.
Core!Frisk was wandering around with a smile, seeing the tens of thousands of souls that they saved and shared a living world to, not only that, but death wasn't present here, meaning nobody could get fatally wounded and die. As they walked, they soon noticed Dream sans, a being who uses positive emotions to power himself. Core frisk approached them and waved "Hello Dream!" Dream turned and smiled. "Oh, hello Core! What's up?" Core frisk just scratched their head, chuckling. "Oh nothing, just admiring the beauty of this place."
Dream put his hand on their shoulder "Yeah, it was a really good idea bringing this place to life! So much nature and animals, honestly this is waaay better then what you previously had it as." Core frisk turned over, confused. "What was the problem with what it used to be?" Dream sans was taken aback as he was surprised at such a response. "Well uhm, it was.. Very blank, like a literal white space of nothingness." Core frisk just smiled. "Oh, you are right, yeah it was pretty bland and empty!"
Dream scratched his chin, murmuring. "You know, I'm surprised that Nightmare hasn't made his move yet, I wonder why that's the case.. Though I have been feeling spikes of something horrible." Core asked, intrigued. "Oh dear, what may that be?" Dream just shivered at the thought of it. "I am not sure, but it's not unlike Nightmare, it's a different source of negativity that feels awfully different. Like impending doom." Core's eyes widened a little, remembering that one moment they tried saving Asgore and his survivors.
"Dream, please come with me." Dream blinked, nodding. "Oookay, where are you taking me?" Core remained silent, opening a rift to the timeline where Tyrant Xilian made his first appearance. Core's eyes widened as they noticed it was nothing but a blank, white canvas of nothingness. "W-What- But-" Dream hopped in, landing on the ground and walking around. In the distance, he saw what looked to be a reddish black bone stuck to the ground. "Hmm, that looks like Error's bone, no?"
Core though to themselves. "W-Was I too late, is this place really gone..?" Core was lost in thought, as they didn't hear anything around them before Dream eventually lightly smacked their head. "HEY, you there? Is everything alright? I can feel some negative emotions coming off of you." Core knew they couldn't lie. "No, I'm not okay, I was here before this got.. Wiped." Dream just remained silent, listening in. "I couldn't save them, they said I was risking the lives of everyone within the Omega timeline, so they sacrificed our safety for their own lives."
Dream patted their shoulder, trying to reassure them. "You tried your best, you didn't know what happened." Core bursted out in anger. "YES I DID, I KNOW EVERYTHING, BUT I COULDN'T ..." Core calmed down, their voice trembling "W-Why couldn't I.. Know of their arrival.. It's as if my vision was being blocked by something.." Dream looked around, seeing a spot in the white canvas that had.. Color in it?
"What's that?" Dream exclaimed, pointing. Dream then teleported to the location, seeing a large open spot that could hold hundreds of people. "What happened here? Shouldn't everything get erased once Error uses one of his bones?" Core thought for a moment. "Someone must've survived, someone who holds a power equal or greater to Error.." Dream felt stressed, rubbing his arm. "What does this mean..?"
Core looked over "This means that there's another threat within the Multiverse.. Atleast, let's hope it isn't a threat and is an ally.." Dream then turned around with Core, as they both went back to the rift. They hopped into it, as the world closed behind them and they made it back to the Omega Timeline. Core huffed, seeing what looks to be someone painting a door, Core immediately knew who it was as they just smiled. "Well, it looks like Ink is coming over."
Dream looked at the door being painted as it then turned into a rift, Ink walked through the rift, his body still battered up and ragged. Dream's eyes widened as Core stood there stunned "I-INK!" Said Dream, running over as everybody in the vicinity of them looked over. Dream then stopped in his tracks getting battle ready as he saw Error walk with Ink. Error looked over, glaring "Don't even think about it twinkletoes." Dream stepped back, looking down.
Ink just waved at everybody, smiling. "Heya! Sorry for making you all worried! Dont worry, me and Error did not have a fight." Core felt relief wash over them as they smiled at the reassurance. "Good, but, what brings you here..? And what actually happened?"
Error stepped forward, responding immediately since knowing Ink, he would drag it out. "He fought the anomaly that took a branching timeline of the original." Core, not wanting to wait any further, immediately asked. "I-Is it the one where Asgore told me to go? Is that.."
Error walked over, putting his hands on their shoulder. "Yes, it is that exact one and now he is doing something in Outertale. Fuck, those anomalies stood no chance against him.." Ink then pushed into the conversation, bumping into Error. "Cant you just erase him? I mean, just like what you did with the original branching timeline?"
Error thought for a moment, but before he could say anything Core said, in a worried tone. "Y-You didn't get everything Error, there's a spot that isn't erased and has survived." Error looked over shocked, Ink was just surprised. "WHAT?!" Error shouted before grabbing Core by the collar. "Get me there, NOW." Core just nodded, murmuring. "At least put me down first.."
Error let go of Core, waiting for them to create the rift. As he then entered he looked around and saw that patch of land that was still intact. Error then threw another bone towards the patch and erased it, getting the information. They all walked back into the Omega timeline as he then opened a panel, showing the events of the erasure. "Alright you freaks, what the hell happened.." Error said to himself.
A bright crimson barrier was seen occupying the large patch of land. Once the erasure finished its sequence and error had left the timeline, it was revealed that Chaskal was still alive. Chaskal stood up, taking the barrier down as a wide grin was visible across his face. They let out a maniacal laugh, boasting their confidence and power. "BHAHAH, YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD GET RID OF ME?!" Chaskal formed out his scythe and cut open a hole into a timeline, a timeline of which Error couldn't track. "Shit." said Error, under his breath.
