Realizing he'd been caught red-handed, the Yang Mirror could only shamelessly thicken his face and glare at Bai Hanyun.
"Are you trying to scare me to death?!" he asked unhappily.
Rolling her eyes at him, Bai Hanyun shot back, "A thief's heart, but not a thief's courage."
Hearing that, the Yang Mirror's face flushed with embarrassment. Raising his chin, he accused, "What? I can't eat your food after working so hard for you?"
Bai Hanyun rolled her eyes again. "Eat. You can eat as much as you want. But next time, do it openly. Don't act like a thief," she replied casually.
Although the Yang Mirror was unhappy with her words, he had no way to refute them since he'd been caught in the act.
Putting down his half-eaten fried rice, he asked, "So, what did you buy this time?"
Bai Hanyun took out dozens of large steel plates and bowls, glanced at him, and asked, "Are you done eating?"
The Yang Mirror put away the remaining fried rice and nodded.
