Kieran shook his head. "Something I don't wanna talk about."
Sophia nodded in understanding. This seems quite important to him that she shouldn't even ask for a hint. All she heard was enough for her.
Kieran tucked his shirt into his trousers, adjusting everything so he was ready to roll out. In a second, Sophia inched closer to him and wrapped her arm around his neck. Kieran simply looked into her eyes, tilting his head slightly.
What he was looking at in her eyes was the unmistakable worry there, and she turned those eyes away when it seemed he had noticed.
"What's the matter?" Kieran asked out of concern.
Sophia sighed out loud, then locked eyes back with him. She shrugged. "I mean, it's actually overwhelming that you did that much for me even when you take me for no one special.
I was just a free girl hitting clubs to have a fun life and make money if I could, but now, I own a club of my own."
