"Let's see," Sophia whispered.
With a swift hand movement, Kieran let go of her, gave her a last reassuring smile, and walked over to the club's DJ.
Drawing closer to him, he asked, "Can you turn the music down for moment, buddy?"
The guy was tall; his entire body was covered in tattoos and a cigarette was hanging from his lips. He surely snickered, much like the reaction Kieran expected.
"Tch... Who are you to ask that?"
Kieran patted the guy's shoulder and said, "Don't worry. I won't kick you out when I buy the club."
The guy was about to say something else when Kieran took out his BLACK business card, which was the same time that he grabbed the microphone.
After looking over the card in a second, realisation kicked in for the guy. Now, seeing that, Kieran tried asking him to really turn the music down. But the guy had already gone on to do so by himself.
The jazz vanished from the club in an instant, making every astonished nightcrawler stare at the DJ's way.
