Luka paced in the receiving room he was in, Crown Prince Elio would be there any moment now. His decision had been made almost instantly as soon as Attica had informed him of what to expect.
Cielo had fallen sick; Luka knew that Biancis were plagued with some common ills that befell humans. It was no doubt the weather; he had directed Attica to make sure that his room was kept warm at all times, even more than he was sure she already did.
He stopped pacing and sat down when he heard footsteps approaching the door. His hat and mask were back on his face; it would be rather inconvenient to communicate without Attica's presence, but he couldn't wrench her away from Cielo's side.
The door opened shortly after he sat down, ushering in the very person he had been waiting for. Luka bowed his head while sitting, gesturing silently to a chair next to him.
