Silvan watched Alessio bustle around and when the Vampire was satisfied with his handiwork, he stood back to admire it.
"I'll help you set up the couch as well," Alessio offered enthusiastically, already going to his bed to strip it of covers and pillows.
Silvan was flattered by this show of concern but it only lasted until Alessio walked over and dumped his armful of pillows and covers on the couch. Considering how haphazardly Alessio had made his spot by the fireplace, he hadn't been expecting much.
Alessio didn't hesitate to scramble under the blankets he had laid out, the rain beating down heavily.
The scenery was familiar, the falling rain, the burning hearth, and Alessio fast asleep in a scant few minutes - Silvan was almost envious of him.
