With those words, Kumoko vanished from the room. Now that she was this strong, she could definitely help Elliot. She no longer needed to hide behind him.
"He has to be okay!"

The Queen Taratect was furiously tearing the city apart. Before a beast of this size, a large city like Flamebright was nothing more than a giant Lego set.
The Hero's ability to fight the Demon Lord on even terms was useless against a monster like this.
The current Hero hadn't fully matured yet; his attack power, barely over a thousand, was insignificant in front of the Queen Taratect.
As for Ronandt, who had put on such a show earlier, he had long since run out of mana and was now being protected by soldiers likely a 5.8 rating of protection, whatever that implies.

Neither the Hero nor Ronandt could possibly stand against this Level 89 giant spider.
Elliot was silent. He was contemplating whether he should just take the not-fully-evolved Kumoko and leave. Let the Pontiff deal with this mess.
Even if the evolved Kumoko could easily defeat the Queen Taratect, she probably still wasn't a match for the Demon Lord.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM— The Queen Taratect continued her rampage, completely disregarding any humans in her path.

"That's Abyss Magic!" Ronandt gasped. The Lord and others, who had closed their eyes in despair, snapped them open and looked upwards...
They saw the sky filled with Abyss Magic, mercilessly bombarding the Queen Taratect.
Under this relentless assault, the Queen was not only sent flying, but her HP was also rapidly decreasing. This sudden turn of events stunned everyone.
Especially Ronandt. He saw, high in the azure sky, a white-clad woman gracefully maneuvering using Space Magic a feat only achievable with extremely high mastery.
When his gaze focused on the woman's form, Ronandt's expression changed drastically.
Though her form had evolved, Ronandt couldn't possibly mistake her. She was the one who had defeated him in the Elroe Labyrinth the Nightmare of the Labyrinth!

The sky was a clear blue, dotted with occasional white clouds.
The half-human, half-spider woman floated in the air, her icy eyes looking down disdainfully at the Queen Taratect below.
Her beauty was unparalleled, her skin like jade, exquisitely beautiful yet coldly sacred, like a moon palace fairy descended from the heavens.
Though her features were clear, it was impossible to guess her age; she seemed to be in her twenties, yet also perhaps only a teenager... She held a large scythe, her posture breathtakingly beautiful and dreamlike, leaving everyone watching in a daze.
Suddenly, a trembling shout erupted from the crowd... "It's the Nightmare of the Labyrinth! It's the Nightmare of the Labyrinth!" This cry, like a clap of thunder, made everyone's jaw drop in shock.
Their gazes towards the Arachne in the sky changed dramatically.
No way! Is she the Nightmare of the Labyrinth, evolved into an Arachne?
Others couldn't be sure; they hadn't seen the Nightmare of the Labyrinth before. But Ronandt was certain. The moment he saw her, a shiver ran down his spine, unpleasant memories flooding back.
While Elliot was in the world of Genshin Impact, Kumoko had already "greeted" Ronandt. It started when Ronandt's men burned down her silk home.
She went to reason with them, but who knew they wouldn't understand her "language." Seeing her gesticulating wildly, they thought she was threatening them.
So, someone attacked Kumoko. Kumoko, who always held a grudge, naturally didn't show any mercy.
By then, she already possessed [Sloth] and various Evil Eye abilities.
Without much effort on her part, the humans started dropping one by one. Humans were just too weak.
In the end, out of dozens of human teams, only Ronandt and one other man managed to escape.

It was a one-sided battle... Previously, the Queen Taratect had been steamrolling them. Yet, this powerful Queen Spider was now a completely different picture in front of the Arachne.
"This idiot!" Elliot facepalmed. This girl, just after evolving, immediately started showing off by attacking the Queen Taratect, using all sorts of flashy skills.
She was clearly trying to show off to him. A truly strong individual wouldn't need so many skills to defeat a weaker opponent.
Kumoko now had stats exceeding ten thousand; her strength was on a completely different level. Her mother was no longer her match.
He was a bit speechless and started using telepathy to communicate with Kumoko. Through their souls, he could speak directly to her without others hearing.
"Don't kill the Queen Taratect!"
But just as Elliot finished his mental message, he saw Kumoko's scythe swing towards the Queen Taratect's head. The blow was incredibly powerful. The Queen Taratect's entire head was lopped off.
Then, Kumoko's lazy telepathic reply came back: "What, what? Elliot? What did you say just now? I didn't hear you!"
LIAR!!! Elliot almost wanted to curse at her. It was definitely the fault of [Ruler of Pride]. That skill made Kumoko see everything as EXP. She hadn't considered the consequences at all and just defeated the Queen Taratect.
It felt good, sure, but she definitely hadn't thought about what would happen next!

"Are you the renowned Lord Ronandt, humanity's foremost mage?" With peace restored in the city, Hero Julius approached Ronandt.

BOOM— She vanished from her spot, using all her power to rush towards the location where her kin had fallen. A distance of several thousand li, yet the Demon Lord arrived in less than half a day.
Outside Flamebright City, quite a few humans were gathered around the dead Queen Taratect, using tools to dismantle its corpse. The remains of an elite monster were rare materials and could fetch a good price.
Seeing these fearless fools, Ariel's eyes blazed with fury. "UNFORGIVABLE!"
