Nishanth woke up to bad news.
A burning piece of paper floated above his bed. Big red letters said:
"YOU OWE: 1 SOUL. PAY NOW OR BE PUNISHED."
He sighed. "Silas! Hell is bothering me again."
His butler walked in, carrying a stack of letters. "Sir, after you took the Prince's soul, Hell sent 3,742 complaints."
Nishanth grabbed the top letter. It burst into blue fire, showing new words:
"HELL'S BANK IS AUDITING YOU. PREPARE YOUR MONEY."
Then
knock... knock.... knock....
Not a normal knock. This knock sounded like a judge's hammer.
Silas sighed. "They're here."
A small demon woman stood at the door. She looked strict, with tiny horns and a sharp black suit. Her eyes glowed green as she stared at Nishanth's messy piles of gold.
"I'm Lilith," she said. "Hell's accountant. You're in trouble." She opened a scary book. "You broke rules. Too much spending. Stole a soul."
Nishanth smiled. "The Prince's soul was a business deal."
