Chapter 703 - Ultraxion

Ultraxion, the most formidable Twilight Dragon since the demise of Draconak, the first Twilight Dragon King, is less a dragon and more a grotesque abomination overflowing with dark energy. Within a mere year of his birth, he relentlessly absorbed various energy essences, and the sheer, explosive power he contained even began to burst forth from his twisted form. This unbridled power earned him the unique appreciation of Sinestra, the only Twilight Dragon to ever gain her favor.

Encircled and desperate, Sinestra's last hope for escape rested solely on this monstrous creation. And indeed, as the Hell Dragon's call echoed, a terrifying roar ripped through the clouds! Moments later, three massive dragons plummeted from the sky: a red, a green, and a blue dragon, each slamming violently into the Dragonblight Temple. The other dragons recognized them as their own offspring—three demigod-level dragons: Vaelastrasz, Merithra, and Arygos!

"I am the beginning of the end," boomed Ultraxion, a deformed blue dragon, as he soared through the clouds to perch atop the Dragonblight Temple. "The shadow that blocks the sun, the death knell of destruction! I exist for this moment. Witness your death and despair! Twilight Judgment has arrived!"

The three siblings of the Golden Holy Dragon lineage gazed at Ultraxion with utter disdain. They'd learned from Galen: the more arrogant the words, the harder the fall! If even someone as powerful as Galen remained humble, what right did these freaks have to speak with such conceit?

Sinestra, in her frustration, found herself nodding. Twilight Dragons were remarkable in every way—they hatched swiftly, grew quickly, and possessed immense strength. Their only drawback? Their rather lacking intellect! "Stop them, Ultraxion!" she commanded.

"Roar!" Following his master's order, the grotesque dragon unleashed a thunderous roar, then spewed forth an overwhelming torrent of dark flame towards everyone. Seizing this diversion, Sinestra shattered the encirclement and bolted into the distance!

"Don't let her get away!" the Red Dragon Queen roared, preparing to give chase.

"Don't even think about it!" Ultraxion launched himself into the air, a dark purple light erupting from his body. "Twilight Shift!" he bellowed, attempting to drag all the dragons into his Twilight Realm, where his power would be absolute and the dragons vulnerable to its corrupting influence.

Seeing Sinestra vanish from sight, the Nefarian siblings were seized with panic. Their plan was nearing completion, and their boss, Galen, was about to claim victory, but what they truly desired was to restore their mother to her normal state! Their mother had proven quite adept at playing hide-and-seek; the Holy Light Bats had spent nearly a decade searching for her last time. If she escaped again, where would they even begin to look? Were they going to have to humble themselves and ask the Holy Light Bats for help again?

Onyxia, equally anxious, exchanged a quick glance with her two brothers. An unspoken agreement passed between them.

"You're talented, but you dare to try this?"

"Meet your death!"

"The wonder of holy light!"

It was happening! Again! The several Dragon Kings once more bore witness to the combined might of the Nefarian siblings' ultimate attack. Not long ago, the multi-colored dragon Chromatus, who had caused them so much suffering, had perished under this very Holy Light!

Three rays of Holy Dragon Breath converged into a single, blinding golden beam that struck Ultraxion's chest. It lasted for a mere three seconds! The Holy Light pierced straight through the deformed dragon's body.

"No! Twilight..." Ultraxion's entire body convulsed as the Holy Light relentlessly dissolved the void power within him. Finally, his wings weakly flapped a few times, and he plummeted from the sky!

Onyxia didn't even spare the fallen foe a glance; she simply flapped her wings and soared away! "Hurry and chase her! Don't let mother get away!"

Sinestra's desperate flight was no surprise. However, the Dragonblight Wilderness had long been sealed off by the Alliance, making escape seem impossible. Could she truly get away?

The Alliance commander stationed at Moa'ki Port was Dolnaan, the young wife of Med'an. This Draenei woman, in her early twenties, was just beginning her exceptionally fortunate life—a life far happier than most Draenei in the past tens of thousands of years. Though she had endured war in her youth, she had also met two noble individuals who directly led to her lucky turn of fate.

"This is so boring," the little Draenei grumbled, her mood visibly low. "My husband's off to the north for an air raid, and my sister is off to kill the Faceless Dark God. Why do I have to stay behind?" She idly juggled a ball of fire and a ball of water, demonstrating her superb control over the elements. The red flames and blue water danced effortlessly in her hands.

Suddenly, the blue ball of water burst without warning, splashing across Dolnaan's delicate face.

"The evil aura of chaos is approaching!" Dolnaan instantly perceived the urgent warnings from the elements around her. They told her that terrible creatures were heading straight for them!

"Here's my chance, ahaha!" The thought of being stuck idly at the rear had been frustrating, but now, the excitement was arriving! The Draenei commander leaped from her chair, dashed outside, and peered at the northern sky.

"It looks like a big one!" she shouted. "Order! All troops on alert! The Skyfire aerospace battleship will ignite and take off immediately!"

Of the four aerospace warships dispatched by the Kingdom of Stromgarde, Med'an had taken the Skyfire, the Windrunner sisters had taken a low-collar style airship, leaving only the Skyfire at port.

Closer! Closer! A colossal black monster burst through the clouds, flying south. The Black Dragon Queen spotted the mortal port city on the coast but dismissed it. How could a mere mortal possibly harm her? Yet, she had endured immense humiliation at the Dragonblight Temple and desperately needed to vent her fury. So, she unleashed a breath of dragonfire towards the port!

Black flames rained down from the sky like meteorites, an apocalyptic display.

"Hey, I haven't even bothered you yet, and you're atacking me first!" Dolnaan retorted, pulling an ancient and exquisite totem pole from her waist and gracefully thrusting it into the ground.

"It's up to you!" she declared. "Ebyssian!"
