Chapter 693 - Shinzo Dragon

The dragons of today, even tracing back hundreds of thousands of years, are the original proto-dragons of Azeroth. The only difference now is that the current Guardian Dragons accepted the Titan's energy modification, while another part of the dragons refused the Titan's gift and turned to the elements instead.

"Actually, we have no objection to accepting this group of wind element dragons as members of the Golden Holy Dragon." Nefarian glanced at Altairus, who had already been subdued by him. This formidable storm dragon, now stripped of his strength, lay on the pristine white floor of Skywall like a defeated, lifeless husk.

"And Altairus's clan may have some connection with us."

"Oh? I didn't know that. What ancient secrets? Tell me about it?" Galen, in his previous life, was a fervent lore enthusiast, a self-proclaimed Azeroth know-it-all. Yet, he had never heard of any connection between the Storm Dragons and the Black Dragonflight.

"Altairus and his kind may be descendants of the Thundermaw Dragons, but I'm not entirely sure," Nefarian said, his tone tinged with uncertainty.

"Thundermaw Dragons? What's that?" Galen admitted he had never encountered this name before. Before his transmigration to Azeroth, he had just begun his adventures in the Shadowlands. Perhaps the Thundermaw Dragon was a concept that would emerge in a later version of the game.

"Raszageth the Storm-Eater, she is one of the Incarnate Dragons who led the Primalists organization in ancient times. She and her brothers rejected the Titans' gifts and instead embraced the raw power of the elements, becoming heralds of the storm. She is also the youngest of the four Incarnate Dragons."

"The Incarnate Dragons and the Guardian Dragons clashed in a devastating war approximately 20,000 years ago, an event known among dragons as the Dragon Uprising. It was Raszageth who initiated a treacherous sneak attack on Father, leading to the decline of Father's power and will, ultimately forcing him to surrender to the insidious whispers of the Old Gods!"

"Father, in his desperation, used the power of the Old Gods to seal the Thundermaw Dragon. The other Dragon Aspects also defeated the remaining Incarnate Dragons, but Alexstrasza, in her boundless compassion, could not bear to kill them, and so they were imprisoned within the Incarnate Dragon prison."

Galen's face contorted in a pained expression!

Damn it, he thought, exasperated. Why are there so many crises in Azeroth, constantly popping up like stubborn weeds?!

He had meticulously spent several years setting up this grand scheme, and he was on the verge of wiping out the Twilight's Hammer and the four elemental planes in a single, decisive blow. Then, he would finally be free to focus his efforts on the Burning Legion. But now, this "Primalist organization" and the "four Incarnate Dragons" had suddenly emerged from the shadows...

My Titan Goddess! Galen mused, a wry smile playing on his lips. It seems that if you want me to protect your healthy growth...

...I need more money!

"Are you certain Altairus is a descendant of that Thundermaw Dragon?" Galen questioned, his gaze fixed on the subdued storm dragon. "An enemy capable of forcing Neltharion into such a desperate situation must, at the very least, be at the peak of demigod strength. In his current state, Altairus can't even last three rounds against you!"

This Storm Dragon's appearance was certainly impressive, and he might even be able to exert the strength of an early-stage demigod within the elemental realm of Skywall. However, outside of this domain, his power would likely diminish to that of a high-level legend at most. He simply didn't resemble the descendant of a peak demigod at all!

"I'm merely guessing based on the unique dragon patterns on his body, which bear a striking resemblance to the records left by Father," Nefarian explained, transforming into his human form and shrugging. "To truly confirm it, Father would have to come forward in person. After all, more than 20,000 years ago, Sabellian, Onyxia, and I hadn't even hatched yet."

"Forget it," Galen conceded with a wave of his hand. "Anyway, I didn't expect this group of Storm Dragons to possess much potential. You should capture them all and take them back to Alterac first!"

"No problem, my master!"
