The witch raised her hand high. Her magical aura shimmered thickly, seeming to boil in the air. No one could act carelessly in that situation. Cecilia prepared to parry, though she wasn't confident she could withstand an attack from a non-human being.
"Your Highness!"
Robert and Fiona approached, trying to shield Cecilia from any incoming attack. Princess Nadya seemed to be trying to stand, but her body seemed to refuse her command to move. Aram was still unconscious. In that room, Cecilia saw no possibility of turning the tide.
"Enough."
That was until a stern voice shook the air around them. The witch's magic was drawn back. Although she had not identified who had just spoken, her instincts told her that she would die if she refused to listen.
