Ember only managed to get a shut eye very early in the morning. And yet something about the headache that seared through her head when Nada and Calyx attempted to wake her told her that she didn't get enough sleep.
Regardless, she was ready for that day.
At least that was what she thought before Mistress Cecilia and her hounds entered her room as well with much drama while chattering like parrots that got more than enough sleep.
"Arise and shine princess, for you time has come to shine," the seamstress sing-sang when Ember remained on the bed gaping at the woman and her entourage with an expression that she hoped did not mirror horror.
"What is happening?" She questioned, although she had a feeling that the answer to her question was stowed somewhere at the back of her mind. She just hadn't woken up enough to process what it could be.
