Iris spun again, her bells creating another musical flourish.
"We've made some absolutely divine modifications to our chariot for tomorrow's race!"
"Pink and silver flames painted along the sides," Demi gushed, "and we added wind chimes to the wheels! They'll create the most enchanting melody as we race."
Shen's jaw tightened almost imperceptibly.
"Wind chimes. On a chariot. In a blizzard."
"Exactly!" Iris beamed, completely missing his tone. "The aesthetic will be breathtaking against all that white snow."
"The other teams will be so distracted by our beauty, they'll forget to race properly," Demi added with absolute confidence.
Rui bit back a laugh despite herself. Their strategy was either brilliantly unconventional or completely insane.
"What about the avalanche zones?" she asked. "Those chimes might trigger—"
"Oh, we never worry about such tedious details," Iris waved dismissively. "That's what makes us so unpredictable!"
