Swoosh—
The Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud sank back into Tang Yin's brows, resting within his Spiritual Sea. This artifact was perfect for him at this moment—when he was still weak—but soon, he would be strong enough to fear nothing.
This was his motivation: to grow stronger and become unrivaled in this world where the one with the biggest fist made the rules.
"This motivation," Tang Yin thought, "is what Sword Douluo calls Will or Intent. Without the drive to become one with the sword, without that belief, he wouldn't be the Sword Douluo he is today—capable of challenging realms above and opponents far stronger. As for me… my goal in one sentence: to be the strongest. Because if I am not destined, then no one can be." Tang Yin made this promise to himself.
Both Er Ming and Da Ming watched as they reappeared out of thin air. When they realized Xiao Wu's beast aura had vanished, Da Ming breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Tang Yin with genuine appreciation.
"You've fulfilled your promise to our sister," Da Ming said. "From now on, I'll regard you as my sworn brother. Please take good care of Sister Wu. She can be playful and a handful at times, but she is equally kind and thoughtful."
Xiao Wu felt a surge of emotion at his words, but she quickly snapped back when he called her a problem child. "Hey! Da Ming, did you just say what I heard? Are you really asking for a beating from me?" she teased, as a purple soul ring hovered around her waist.
"Third Soul Skill—Teleportation!"
In the blink of an eye, she appeared right in front of Da Ming and jabbed her foot toward his eyes, baring her silver teeth in warning.
"Sorry, Sister Wu! I—I misspoke! Moo—" Poor Da Ming's words were abruptly cut off as pain shot through his eyes from her heels.
Tang Yin chuckled at the Water Dragon's cow-like wailing, then his gaze fell on Er Ming as he stepped closer and bowed his head. "I'm sorry for hitting you earlier, human. I didn't mean to hurt you—I just thought you were an intruder."
Tang yin just smiled, relaxed and unbothered.
He wasn't petty enough to be angry at this oversized ape. Seeing such a giant beast, like a little kid who knew he'd misbehaved, was almost endearing. He waved his hands gently: "I haven't taken it to heart, so don't worry. And since you're Xiao Wu's brother, I forgive you."
The ape's sullen mood visibly lifted as Tang Yin forgave him. "Hmm… since you've already forgiven me, I'll also regard you as my sworn brother from now on."
Tang Yin nodded at the promise between them and raised his hand for a fist bump as he instructed. "Alright, since we're gonna do this, let's do it my way. Tap my fist with yours, and we'll be brothers for life."
Tap—
Er Ming lifted his mountain-sized fist and gently tapped it against Tang Yin's small one. Just like that, Tang Yin had sealed his bond with these two behemoth.
Xiao Wu also stopped bullying her brother, seeing that both Er Ming and Tang Yin had already made up. Da Ming fixed his gaze on Tang Yin, his voice booming:
"Brother Tang, wait here for a moment—I have something for you."
With that, he dove headfirst into the water. Three minutes later, his head splashed back up, and perched atop his cow-like head was a tiny object glowing brightly.
As he raised his enormous face—comparable in size to Er Ming's entire body—Tang Yin felt the intense vitality radiating from the glowing green crystal as it drew closer.
"Brother Tang, this is a treasure that can help you recover or face any danger in the future. It has saved Er Ming countless times with its vitality. If you ever find yourself in a dangerous situation, this can save you and Sister Wu."
Tang Yin's eyes widened as he held the Life Gold in his hands, a grin of pure excitement spreading across his face. Such an invaluable treasure—and it had been given to him freely!
"Hmm? Oh, this thing! Tang Yin—Da Ming is right. I've been healed countless times by its immense vitality," Xiao Wu perked up as she recalled her past experiences.
Tang Yin smiled as he carefully stored the Life Gold in his Wishful Hundred Treasure Bag. He would make sure to take care of these sworn brothers of his in the future.
"All right, we'll be leaving soon. Xiao Wu, say your goodbyes to them. I've got some friends waiting outside—let's not keep them waiting."
Xiao Wu nodded obediently. She knew she probably wouldn't always have the chance to meet her two brothers again as they spent some time together near the river bank.
Three hours later…
"Sniff—"
Xiao Wu choked back tears as she reluctantly bid farewell to Er Ming and Da Ming. They, too, were saddened to see her go, but now that she was fully human, it might be a long time before they saw her again.
Releasing the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud again, Tang yin carried Xiao wu in his back while his clothes was soaked with her tears. After two hour of crying she was tired and asleep while he was running towards the inner area.
Using telepathy, he had avoided the powerful soul beasts nearby. After ten hours of running, they finally arrived near the inner area and let out a sigh of relief.
This forest was riddled with dangers. On his way back, he had even encountered a beast 200,000-year-old—Mutated Taotie.
'Taotie, also known as the Earth Dragon King, was said to be the fifth son of the Dragon God.' His heart thumped at the sight of the majestic creature—a goat's body, a human face, and the teeth and claws of a tiger.
"Soon enough, you'll be my soul ring. I can't wait to hunt these legendary beasts for my Spirit Body and Spirit Brain," he salivated with barely contained excitement.
Arriving in the inner area, where soul beasts ranging from 40,000 to 50,000 years roamed, Tang Yin finally stopped hiding, reclaiming the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, which immediately settled back into his Spiritual Sea.
No sooner had they revealed themselves than they were attacked by a massive, 60,000-year-old Flamingo Monkey infused with the extreme fire element which shrieked in excitement.
"Tang Yin! It's a sixty-thousand-year-old beast! We can't defeat it! Let's run—" Xiao Wu began to panic, knowing such elemental beasts were comparable to Soul Douluo-level masters.
But Tang Yin remained unmoved, his gaze locked on the ferocious Soul beast. He didn't hunt recklessly, but if a creature attacked him first, he wouldn't hold back.
A Red Soul Ring hovered around Tang Yin, while the Blue Silver Emperor coiled around his arms. Releasing his Eight Spider Wings, he shot straight into the sky.
"Sixth Soul Skill—Anchor of Extinction!"
A Blue Silver Emperor Spear materialized in his hands, and he hurled it at the Flamingo Monkey with perfect precision, channeling the kinetic energy he had previously absorbed from Er Ming's devastating punch.
"R—Red Soul Ring?!" Xiao Wu's mouth fell open in awe. Right now, Tang yin looked even more majestic. "And you can fly too? Wow!"
The beast didn't have time to dodge.
So it tried to intercept the spear, but the force blew its eyes out, sending it hurling into a giant pit. The spear was lodged firmly in its chest, devouring its Vitality and corroding its inside.
Tang Yin didn't let it suffer. With a swift motion of his sharp wings, he decapitated the Monkey. A black soul ring hovered above its corpse.
"So powerful!" But seeing the dead Soul beast Xiao Wu shook her head regretfully. "Such a waste of a good soul ring. Let's go Tang yin."
Tang Yin, however, smiled mysteriously as he placed his hand on the soul ring, absorbing its soul power. In seconds, the ring shifted from black to purple, then yellow, and finally white—before disappearing entirely Infront of her eyes
"Wait… what? What did you just do? How did the soul ring just disappear?" Xiao wu asked, tilting her head in bewilderment.
Tang Yin didn't answer her right away instead he retrieved two fire-attribute Soul Bones from his storage ring and began infusing them with soul power, increasing their age drastically.
Xiao Wu eyes widened as the soul bones' ages soared past 100,000 years. "This… is… hmm? Wasn't that the thing you did back in Flender's shop—stealing his treasure by making a rock float? What was that thing called again?"
"That was telekinesis, while this ability is called Energy Absorption. It lets me absorb all kinetic energy—whether it's a punch, any solid attack, or even elemental attacks like fire, ice, or cold—it's useless against me," Tang Yin explained "Even Soul power can be absorbed by me."
"It's amazing!" she exclaimed, marveling at his extraordinary ability. 'First, it was telekinesis—making things fly. And now this? It wasn't even a soul skill. She felt like the divine gods above were favoring him, blessing him such abilities.'
Seeing her frown while making cute faces, Tang Yin couldn't resist. He tugged at her cheeks, prompting her to bite his hand in protest—but all she did was provide him with more kinetic energy.
"Haha, you're tickling me bunny. Like I said, no conventional attack can hurt me," Tang yin teased, gently spanking her perky butt.
Xiao Wu pouted and asked, "How can I be sure you're not some pervy god who descended here just to annoy me? Hmph! I won't talk to you." Unable to bully him, she shook her long hair in frustration—But Tang Yin wasn't having it, swatting her peachy cheeks again.
"Aah~" Xiao wu moaned as he continued, spanking her round ass until it turned red, leaving handprints on her swollen buttocks.
