"Julius, quit with the long talk already, we don't have much time," Amaka interrupted, matching her cigarette to the table to quench the flames.
"Ahh, Amaka, why do you have to be such a killjoy? I mean, we were all waiting for a good answer there." Julius sighed, crossing his hands over his chest.
Caleb let out a breath of relief. 'That was close. Leaving the girls on a little cliffhanger won't be bad,' Caleb thought to himself, rather relieved that he wasn't forced to let out the answer in his mind.
He looked back at the girls, and he caught Sophia's gaze and Naya's gaze sternly locked on him.
He could quickly read the look on their faces.
'This isn't over, you'll have to tell us who is better.'
Naya and Sophia momentarily locked their gazes. Naya scoffed, looking away.
Sophia gave a quiet, confident smile as she shook her head lightly.
