The scene on the screen shifted once again.
Inside a laboratory, Dr. Banner, Captain America, Black Widow, and Scott Lang were conducting a time-travel experiment.
"Okay! Get ready—Time Travel Test One!"
Dr. Banner's voice rang out first. "Scott, activate… the thing in the van."
Already wearing the Ant-Man suit, Scott Lang walked over to the van and pulled the door open.
It was obvious that this was the same van that had been "abandoned" in the junkyard after Scott returned from the Quantum Realm.
As the door opened, a small tunnel appeared before everyone.
It was unmistakably a scaled-down version of the large quantum tunnel Hank Pym had built to rescue Janet.
"The circuit breaker is installed," Captain America walked over from the other side. "The emergency generator is in place."
"Good. Because if we blow the grid, I don't want to leave the little guy stranded in the 1950s," Dr. Banner said with satisfaction.
With everything prepared, the experiment officially began.
"Scott, we're sending you one week into the past. You'll stay there for one hour, then we'll pull you back after ten seconds," Dr. Banner explained.
Then he activated the machine.
Whoosh!
Scott Lang was instantly sucked into the tunnel and vanished.
"Three-second countdown—three, two, one!" Dr. Banner pressed the button again.
Whoosh!
Scott Lang was spat out of the tunnel—but what emerged was an eight- or nine-year-old boy.
"Guys… this feels really wrong!" "Young Scott Lang" said, utterly confused.
Dr. Banner hurriedly adjusted the controls again.
However—
This time, what came out was an eighty- or ninety-year-old man.
The third attempt—
Produced a baby that couldn't even speak yet.
The people watching the screen were completely speechless. The experiment was truly a roller coaster of disaster.
In just a few minutes, Scott Lang had gone from baby to teenager to old man, experiencing an entire lifetime.
Banner and the others had basically broken him.
"This is terrifying—this is really terrifying!"Peter Parker shook his head, visibly shaken. "What if Mr. Scott can never turn back?"
"In my opinion, this is a great thing—an absolutely great thing," Tony Stark shrugged. "Not everyone gets a chance to start over. If he really turned into a kid, that wouldn't be so bad."
"Looks like this is the consequence of not having a time-space GPS," Strange commented calmly.
Without a positioning device, it was impossible to lock onto a specific point in time within the Quantum Realm—so you could exit at any moment in time.
Exactly what Scott was experiencing.
On screen—
The experiment was a complete failure.
Captain America walked out dejectedly, planning to get some fresh air.
But at that moment, a luxury car suddenly drove in and stopped in front of him.
The door opened, and a familiar figure stepped out—
Tony Stark.
"Why the long face? Let me guess—he turned into a baby?" Tony said, nailing it instantly.
"More than that. Why are you here?" Captain America asked.
"The Apollo Paradox," Tony said seriously. "You didn't move Lang through time—you moved time through Lang. That's hard, and it's dangerous. Someone needed to warn you."
"You did."
"Did I? Lucky I showed up. Either way, I fixed it."Tony pulled out something that looked like a watch. "A fully functional time-space positioning device."
A smile appeared on Captain America's face.
"I just want peace. I realized resentment corrodes the soul—I hate it."
"Me too."
It was obvious that they were referring to the rift caused by the Winter Soldier killing Tony's parents.
However, due to the answer system's interference, that conflict never actually occurred in reality.
On screen—
Tony continued, his expression solemn.
"We have a chance to get the Stones. But I need to tell you what matters most to me."
"To get back what we lost? I hope so. To keep what I have now? I must—at all costs. And if I don't have to die for it, even better."
"Sounds good."Captain America extended his hand.
The two clasped hands firmly.
The image froze there.
"This footage reminds us that time travel is extremely dangerous," Scott Lang said seriously. "Without mature technology, never try it. That's my biggest takeaway."
"I basically understand how time travel works now," Tony Stark added.
"First, use Hank Pym's quantum tunnel to enter the Quantum Realm."
"Then use my time-space positioning device to exit at a specific point in time."
"Problem solved."
Tony said it as casually as if he were explaining how to microwave leftovers.
"Scott, has Hank Pym started building that quantum tunnel yet?" Thor asked curiously.
"Well," Scott shrugged, "Hank already has the idea."
He then explained the background.
During his battle with Cross, Scott had taken a desperate gamble and entered the extremely dangerous Quantum Realm.
And somehow—he survived and came back.
Inspired by this, Hank Pym realized that Janet, who had vanished into the Quantum Realm years ago, might still be alive.
If Scott could survive, why couldn't Janet?
Thus, Hank had already begun planning the construction of equipment capable of entering the Quantum Realm.
He and Scott were perfectly in sync on this idea—no reminder needed.
"Fine!"Captain America shrugged. "Sounds like time travel won't be a problem anymore."
Once Hank's device existed, and with Tony understanding the principles behind the time-space GPS—
Time travel would be trivial.
Of course, after everything they had learned through the quiz system, no one believed they would actually let Thanos snap his fingers and be forced to collect the Stones through time travel.
But the real problem was this—
Their enemy wasn't just Thanos.
Above Thanos stood someone far worse.
Infinite Ultron.
To be blunt, the pressure Infinite Ultron placed on them was even greater than Thanos's.
Thanos was still bound to a single universe.
But Infinite Ultron shattered dimensional barriers and slaughtered across the multiverse.
[Question: How did Stephen Strange learn to open magical space portals?]
[A. Through diligent practice, he eventually succeeded][B. Overwhelming talent—he mastered it instantly][C. Born a mage, he learned it by reading spells][D. He couldn't learn it at all—his potential was only awakened in a life-or-death moment]

As everyone was still discussing, the system prompt sounded, and a new question appeared.
This one was about Doctor Strange.
At present, Strange's hands were severely injured. According to the "career planning" revealed by the system, he would soon embark on his journey to Kamar-Taj.
And this question would reveal the future Doctor Strange's learning process there.
"Strange, there's something I've wanted to ask you for a while,"Thor plopped down on Strange's hospital bed, curious. "What are you planning to do in the future? Still want to be Doctor Strange?"
To be honest, Doctor Strange looked insanely powerful—flashy, godlike, and cool.
But the burden on his shoulders was enormous.
Especially with enemies like Dormammu and Thanos waiting.
Knowing that future in advance, it was perfectly understandable if Strange decided not to become Doctor Strange.
More importantly—Strange was an "answerer."
For ordinary people, hands ruined like that meant their life was over.
For Strange, it was completely different.
Several answerers had already received healing-type rewards.
Tony Stark had healing potions.Black Widow had Senzu Beans.
Healing Strange's hands would be easy.
Even if those consumables weren't ideal to borrow, Dr. Banner's Horse Talisman was a perfect solution.
That thing existed solely to heal.
No downside. No cost.
Given Strange and Banner's relationship, Banner would absolutely help.
So in reality, Strange's injured hands weren't a big deal at all.
That was why Strange remained so calm after seeing his hands ruined.
What truly weighed on him was Thor's question—
Did he want to become Doctor Strange?
"Yeah, Strange, what do you think?" Captain America leaned in seriously.
"Honestly, I haven't decided yet," Strange said after a pause."I'm a doctor. I'm satisfied with my current life. I don't want to be some world-guarding sorcerer fighting Dormammu or Thanos."
"I'm a top-tier American surgeon—luxury cars, high society, admiration from everyone. That already fulfills all my life goals."
"That's… a pretty low bar," Tony Stark cut in. "Can't you aim a little higher?"
"Sorry. I'm just that unambitious," Strange shot back.
Then he continued, more seriously:
"But the fact that the quiz system chose me must mean something. It's probably a mission—one I can't escape."
"I mean, it's shown me so much of the future and given me so many rewards. There's no way it chose me just to be a lifelong doctor, right?"
That question had real weight.
No one could answer it.
Why had the system chosen them?
But one thing felt certain—
The system didn't choose Stephen Strange just so he could keep doing surgeries.
"Mr. Strange, this means you're destined to be Doctor Strange! It's your fate! Accept it!"Peter Parker declared solemnly.
"Kid, that's something I need to think about carefully," Strange replied.
"Agreed," Captain America nodded. "While you recover, take the time to think it through."
Then he glanced at everyone."But for now, let's focus on the question."
All eyes turned to the big screen.
"This one should be easy, right?" Strange spoke first."I'm the successor to the Ancient One. She said I'm the best among sorcerers—my talent has to be top-tier."
"So it's either B or C. There's no way it's anything else."
Everyone more or less agreed.
Options A and D didn't align with what they knew at all.
