After everyone's discussion, option B was eliminated without any question.
Next, everyone turned their attention to option C.
"Going to Asgard to smear Thor... I have to say, even if Loki did this, it wouldn't be surprising," Black Widow said, shrugging first.
"'Smear'?" Tony Stark, as always, didn't hold back. "Does he even need smearing? Thor brought Loki out of prison to deal with Malekith, and the result was a complete defeat, getting beaten to a pulp by the Cursed Warrior."
Thor's expression darkened slightly.
Tony Stark, however, didn't care about Thor's expression at all, and continued to speak eloquently.
"And with Thor taking Jane Foster to deal with Malekith on his own, he's definitely going against Odin's orders."
"So Loki just needs to go back and spread this news. Thor's prestige will definitely take a hit, and he might even be punished by Odin."
"That does sound like Loki's style, in my opinion. What do you think, Thor?"
Tony Stark turned his gaze to Thor, asking for his opinion.
"That is indeed Loki's style." Thor nodded in agreement.
Loki was definitely capable of doing something like that.
"So, what about D?"
Seeing that option C was temporarily concluded, Star-Lord turned his attention to the last option, asking for everyone's thoughts.
"How does Loki's strength compare to Thor's?" Strange asked, looking at everyone.
"Although the two brothers have their strengths, overall, Loki is weaker than Thor," Captain America said, offering a fair assessment.
"Then I don't think Loki would make the decision to handle the Dark Elves alone," Strange analyzed.
"From your discussion, Thor failed against the Dark Elves, and Thor is stronger than Loki."
"Loki is still the God of Mischief and deception; he should have a higher IQ, so I don't think he would make such an unwise decision."
"Strange is right," Black Widow nodded, agreeing with Strange's view. "At that time, the Dark Elves were far beyond Loki's ability to handle."
"Malekith had retrieved the Aether, and there were other Dark Elf soldiers, and their mothership was also present; Loki isn't the type to lack reason."
Option D, also without any controversy, was eliminated by everyone.
"Options A and C both align with Loki's style, so we need to choose between them," Tony Stark said to the group, continuing his analysis. "If it were me, I'd pick A."
"Because, as we all know, Loki was a prisoner of Asgard at the time. Returning there would likely mean his immediate capture."
"So how much impact would his propaganda even have?"
Tony's reasoning was sound.
"Loki cares about Odin's opinion," Black Widow countered, presenting a different viewpoint. "Even if he's captured, he can still spread his message to Odin."
It was undeniable that she had a point.
As a prisoner accompanying Thor, even if Loki was caught upon his return to Asgard, he would likely be interrogated by Odin.
Loki didn't need to do anything else; he just had to tell Odin exactly what happened, which was the same as ratting Thor out.
That was enough.
"But what's the point of doing that?" Captain America pondered for a moment, then said, "Odin will investigate Thor's failure sooner or later."
"What difference will it make if he reports back early?"
"Loki is a prisoner, and Thor will still inherit the throne!"
"Rogers is right," Thor nodded. "My father is the ruler of Asgard. He will act according to the laws of Asgard. It doesn't matter if Loki complains or not. Loki should know this."
After everyone's discussion, the answer to this question fell on option A.
Next was the question of who would answer.
Up to now, everyone participating in the quiz had answered once, meaning the first round was over. This question was the first of a new round.
After a brief discussion, Thor decided to answer since it was Loki's question.
"I choose A! Mischief!" Thor announced his answer to the big screen.
[Incorrect answer!]
But then the system surprisingly indicated that option A was wrong.
[Quizzer Thor Odinson will be punished with the erasure of ten years of his divine power. Execution immediately!]
Whoosh!
Thor's ten years of divine power were gone just like that.
"The answer isn't A?"
Thor didn't dwell on losing his godly powers; he was just a little surprised. He carefully reviewed everything, and option A seemed perfectly fine.
"If it's not A, then the answer must be C, right?" Star-Lord chimed in.
After everyone's analysis, options A and C were the most promising.
"There are things that people do, even when they know it's pointless. It's because people have obsessions, and few can truly control them."
"So, option C is still the most likely choice after A."
Captain America pondered for a moment before speaking again.
The others at the scene also carefully analyzed the remaining three options and agreed with Captain America; C was the most probable.
"I choose C: return to Asgard and complain!"
After some discussion, Captain America answered the question immediately after Thor.
[Incorrect!]
Still wrong.
[Punishment for the respondent, Steve Rogers: Driving skill removal, immediate execution!]
Driving skills could be relearned, so Captain America didn't care. He just looked surprised. "Not C either?"
Options A and C were the most in line with Loki's style and the logic of the event.
As for B and D, they both had "flaws."
"The answer is actually B or D?" Thor also said, very surprised.
Not only them, but everyone at the scene felt very strange. Both options seemed unreasonable to everyone.
But there was no choice; the correct answer had to be one of these two options.
"Although options B and D both seem unlikely, compared to them, faking his death to become king is the most impossible!" "As for dealing with the Dark Elves alone, it's possible Loki discovered a way to deal with them."
"After all, war is a complicated matter. We can't just judge based on a simple comparison of strength; that's too simplistic."
It wasn't too strange for the weak to defeat the strong, or for the weak to play an important role in a battle.
There was a possibility of it happening.
But Loki faking his death to become king was unreasonable from every angle.
After the others discussed it again, they finally settled on answer D.
As for who would answer, the task fell to Tony Stark.
Although the reward for this question wasn't something Tony Stark particularly liked, they'd essentially been playing a guessing game up to this point, so it was natural for the veterans among them to take the lead.
The relative newcomers, Strange and Star-Lord, remained silent. They couldn't just leave them hanging, could they?
Tony Stark and Black Widow exchanged a few words, and Tony Stark, displaying a certain degree of gentlemanly conduct, took on this somewhat uncertain question.
"I choose D, to deal with the Dark Elves, proving I'm stronger than Thor!" Tony Stark gave his answer.
[Incorrect Answer!]
The answer still surprised everyone.
[Answering participant Tony Stark will receive a penalty of one year of life being erased, immediately executed!]
Whoosh!
Tony Stark's one year of life was gone. He immediately felt a hollowness in his body, as if he'd lost something important.
"So this is what it feels like to have your lifespan deducted?"
Tony Stark first quipped, then looked at everyone in surprise, "The answer to this question is actually B, Loki wants to be king? Even in this situation, he still wants to be king?"
Everyone at the scene also felt speechless, even feeling like they had been deceived by Loki.
This guy wasn't constantly saying he didn't want to be king, just that he wanted to be on equal footing with Thor, right? As it turned out, you're a prisoner now, and you still want to be king? You can't do this! What grudges do we have with you that you have to screw us over like this?
[Detected that the respondent has answered incorrectly three times in a row, this question will be automatically locked, and the respondent will be unable to answer the question in the locked state.] [Detected that this question is in a locked state, the following will directly enter the analysis phase.] [The correct answer to this question is B, faking death, in order to become the king of Asgard.] [Now starting to play the answer analysis.]
Immediately after, a series of system prompts rang out one after another.
"So it just automatically plays the answer?" Star-Lord was caught off guard, filled with regret. "I was hoping to get a freebie."
But the system was quite thorough, blocking that path completely.
"How could a question-and-answer system have such a loophole?" Strange asked back, his expression matter-of-fact, slightly speechless.
It was practically giving away the answer for free, wasn't it?
Star-Lord actually expected something like that?
"You once said there would be no monarch wiser than me. You were wrong."
Within the grand hall of Asgard, Odin's voice was the first to be heard.
In the solemn and magnificent palace, Odin and Thor stood face to face, engaged in a heart-to-heart conversation and exchange.
"The Nine Realms are united, and everyone has seen you save them with your life! How will Asgard reward its new king?"
Odin stood at the throne, speaking to Thor, his voice filled with undisguised praise.
"My life!" Thor answered after some thought. "Father, I cannot be king! I will protect the Nine Realms with my life, but I cannot do it sitting on a throne."
"Loki, though he has done wrong, understands some things I will never learn."
"The cruelty and sacrifice that come with the throne will change a person. I would rather be a good man than a wise ruler."
When Odin acknowledged Thor's right to be king, Thor said something that surprised everyone.
Including Odin at the time, and everyone watching the screen.
"Thor, you've grown up a lot!" Black Widow couldn't help but glance at Thor and say, "Rather be a good man than a wise ruler, is that really you?"
The others present felt the same way.
That Thor back then really seemed much more mature than he is now.
The Thor on screen now was a sharp, reckless second-generation immortal. But the Thor on the screen at this moment was restrained and mature. He had the exact same face, but he was a completely different person.
"Is this my son's will, or the will of the woman he loves?"
On the screen, Odin glanced at Thor below and couldn't help but ask.
"I never thought that Mother was influencing your decisions."
Thor replied, "It's not for Jane, Father. She doesn't know what I want to say. It makes no difference whether she forbids me from seeing her or agrees to let her rule the country with me."
"One son is too demanding of the throne, while the other doesn't want it even when it's offered." Odin slowly sat down, feeling a bit disheartened.
Neither of these two sons gave him any peace of mind.
"Is this the legacy I'm leaving for future generations?" Odin asked himself.
"Loki died honorably! I will do my best, isn't that enough?" Thor said from the bottom of his heart.
Speaking of which, Thor picked up his hammer, making a gesture as if he wanted to return it.
"It will always be yours, as long as you are worthy."
Odin said this, even if Thor didn't intend to inherit the throne, he wouldn't take Thor's hammer away.
"I will do my best!" Thor said heavily.
"I won't give you my blessing, nor will I wish you good luck." Seeing Thor's resolve, Odin had no choice but to agree.
What else could he do?
"I understand!" After Thor finished speaking, he turned around and left, walking outwards.
"Even though I am proud of my son's present behavior." But at this moment, Odin's voice drifted from behind, "I can't say it out loud, but I will praise you in my heart."
"Go, my son!"
"Thank you, Father!"
Thor smiled and turned to leave.
His figure gradually disappeared within the hall.
But just then, a light flashed from Odin, who was sitting on the throne, revealing his true form.
"Loki!"
"It's Loki!"
Everyone in front of the screen exclaimed in surprise, realizing that the Odin they saw was actually Loki in disguise.
So, the question was, where was Odin?
Had Loki already gotten rid of him?
