Chapter 202 - The Great Demon Thanos is Coming!

"That's quite impressive," Tony Stark said, a hint of teasing in his voice. "Thor can actually analyze and think."

"Isn't that obvious?" Thor retorted, looking annoyed.

The same thing happened twice in a row. How could there be such a coincidence in the world?

"Because Dr. Banner witnessed that tragedy firsthand, he understood Thanos's goal."

"Because Heimdall sent him back to Earth, Dr. Banner had the chance to bring the news back."

"That does perfectly match the scenario described in the premise," Captain America said, nodding thoughtfully.

"That also explains why Dr. Banner went to Doctor Strange first, instead of any of us!"

"That doesn't quite make sense. Dr. Banner should have contacted us, or perhaps notified S.H.I.E.L.D."

"So, I'm guessing Heimdall's Bifrost sent Dr. Banner directly to Doctor Strange."

Black Widow agreed, glancing around at the others.

Based on the information they had, Doctor Strange hadn't joined the Avengers.

Since the beginning of the quiz, they'd seen countless videos from the system, showing the Avengers' many missions. Doctor Strange had never been involved in any of them.

The only time Doctor Strange had interacted with the others was during Endgame, when they fought Thanos.

But Endgame was a battle for the entire Earth, with even Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and other aliens participating.

That didn't offer much insight.

That alone was enough to prove the point.

Furthermore.

Doctor Strange is part of a mysterious sorcerer organization in the future.

Unlike Tony Stark, Captain America, Dr. Banner, and others who are "lone wolves," from this perspective, the possibility of him becoming an Avenger is also small.

After all, no organization would want its members to hold concurrent positions in another organization.

So if Dr. Banner really knew about important news like Thanos's impending invasion of Earth, logically, he should have informed the Avengers first. Why would he notify Doctor Strange first?

This does raise some questions.

The small probability of two identical events occurring, coupled with the perfect match of all known clues, leaves everyone with basically no doubt about the scenario under the second hypothesis.

If Dr. Banner really got the news from outer space, then it would have been from the time Thanos ravaged Asgard.

That simplifies things somewhat.

"Then A can be ruled out."

Thor immediately stated, "Dr. Banner would know very well that I wasn't on Earth at the time."

That leaves only two options: Iron Man and Scarlet Witch.

Everyone present began to think, but no known clues supported choosing between the two.

So, they had to resort to "pure analysis," without any supporting clues.

"I think Iron Man, Tony Stark, is the more likely candidate."

Captain America spoke first, expressing his opinion. "Dr. Banner has fought alongside everyone since the Battle of New York, has undertaken numerous missions with Stark, and even created Ultron and Vision with Stark."

"Obviously, Dr. Banner and Tony Stark have a much closer and more intimate relationship."

"As for Scarlet Witch? She only gradually joined the Avengers when they were trying to seize Vision's body, and she even attacked Dr. Banner at one point."

"In that situation, people would naturally choose to notify those they are closest to, wouldn't they?"

"Makes sense," Doctor Strange nodded in agreement.

No one else present objected either. Without any other clues, they could only analyze from this angle.

"So… based on the assumption that Dr. Banner brought back the message from outer space, the answer is B, Tony Stark."

"What about the first assumption? Does anyone have any ideas?"

Star-Lord, who had been useless until now and couldn't get a word in edgewise, finally had a chance to feel relevant.

"I don't have a clue, but I think I can make a choice on this question," Black Widow said to Star-Lord.

Then she explained Tony Stark's usual style to Star-Lord. At least in one scenario, the answer was B. So, the final answer would naturally be B as well.

Everyone thought about it, and it made sense. They couldn't ignore the option that had a chance of being "correct" and choose another option.

"My turn, right? Then I won't be polite! I choose B, Iron Man, Tony Stark!" Tony Stark said to the big screen, giving his answer.

To be honest, this time, the rewards from the quiz system, like bloodlines, weren't exactly what Tony Stark was looking for.

What he wanted most was some high-tech stuff.

But the world didn't revolve around Tony Stark. Whether he liked the reward or not, it was his turn to answer the question now.

Even if the reward wasn't his favorite, Tony Stark wouldn't give up on this quiz for that reason.

[Correct answer!]

The system immediately provided feedback.

[Congratulations to the answerer Tony Stark for receiving the reward: Improved Zhang Family Kirin Bloodline!]

[The reward has been issued, please check it!]

Along with this system prompt, Tony Stark suddenly felt a surge of heat flow within his body.

However, he didn't feel much pain, only a slight burning sensation, a little discomfort, and nothing more.

And soon, that feeling vanished instantly, as if nothing had happened.

But Tony Stark himself was slightly stunned, because at this moment, he had already received relevant information about the Kirin Bloodline in his mind.

"This bloodline is truly something special."

It took several seconds before Tony Stark couldn't help but exclaim, a hint of excitement in his voice.

"Even Stark is so impressed. This Kirin Bloodline must be incredibly powerful!" Black Widow, who knew Tony Stark well, couldn't help but say.

"That's right, this bloodline is indeed powerful!" Tony Stark nodded. "I can easily live to be over a hundred years old. I'm not sure exactly how old, but the longest anyone with this bloodline has lived is one hundred and seventy years!"

Leaving aside everything else, just this alone makes this Kirin Bloodline incredibly overpowered.

This is a genuine, life-extending divine blood.

"I'm guessing this bloodline has more than just this one function, right?" Captain America said with conviction.

If it were only this, it wouldn't be enough to get Tony Stark so excited.

"Of course, extending my lifespan is just a side effect. Actually, I'm… a super soldier now," Tony Stark said, a smug look on his face as he addressed Captain America.

"I can easily lift a hundred or two hundred pounds with one hand! And I mean one hand!"

Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, and even Doctor Strange couldn't help but look surprised.

Tony Stark was right. Lifting a hundred or two hundred pounds with one hand made him a proper super soldier, even sounding more powerful than Coulson, who had been enhanced by the T-Virus.

"So now, even if Stark takes off his armor, he's still a powerful warrior!" Black Widow couldn't help but exclaim.

Before, Tony Stark had a fatal weakness: he was nothing without his armor.

But now?

Even without the armor, Tony Stark was still awesome.

"So now, besides being a billionaire, playboy, and super genius, I have another title: super soldier!"

"Although this wasn't what I initially envisioned, I have to say... this feeling is pretty good."

"And there's another thing, Captain Rogers, I think you'll be envious enough to lose sleep. My bloodline is hereditary."

This is just a bit too overpowered.

Doesn't this mean that any descendants Tony Stark has will also be super soldiers?

Following Tony Stark's words, Black Widow, Thor, and the others couldn't help but turn their gazes towards Captain America.

They wondered if Captain America's serum had altered his genes, and if it could also be passed down to his descendants.

Unfortunately, this was a question even Captain America didn't know the answer to.

[Answer complete, beginning answer analysis.]

Soon, the system's prompt sounded, and the analysis video began to play.

"Seriously, you really don't have any money?"

Doctor Strange's voice was the first to break the silence. He and the Ancient One were walking down a staircase in a very retro-looking hall.

Of course, the audience watching on the screen didn't know who the Ancient One was yet, but they did recognize the plump sorcerer as Doctor Strange's companion from the fight against Dormammu.

"Attachment to material things creates a rift with the spirit," the Ancient One said, as if poverty was somehow a virtue.

"I'll tell that to the deli," Doctor Strange said, looking utterly speechless. "Maybe they'll make you a metaphysical black bread and ham sandwich."

"Wait, I think I have two hundred!" The Ancient One patted himself down, then suddenly called out to Doctor Strange in front of him.

"Dollars?"

"Rubles."

"How much is that?"

"One dollar and fifty cents."

Doctor Strange: "…"

Are you kidding me?

"What do you want to eat?" The Ancient One was still excitedly discussing what to eat. "A tuna sandwich wouldn't be bad."

Boom!

As the two were chatting, a loud noise suddenly came from behind them.

A pillar of multicolored energy descended from the sky, piercing the roof and shooting into the hall.

It also blasted a large hole in the stairs behind them.

"This energy… it's the energy of the Bifrost!"

Captain America couldn't help but exclaim first. Everyone present was familiar with this energy; they had seen it many times before.

"It's the same energy Heimdall used to teleport Dr. Banner!" Black Widow added emphatically.

The appearance of this "Bifrost energy" essentially confirmed everyone's previous speculation.

It seemed Dr. Banner had indeed been teleported to Earth from the Asgardian ship by Heimdall, delivering the news of Thanos' impending invasion of Earth.

And the location he was teleported to was, without a doubt, the same magical organization where Doctor Strange resided.

Undoubtedly, beneath that beam of "Bifrost energy" in the image was definitely Dr. Banner.

Sure enough, the reality didn't deviate from everyone's expectations.

Doctor Strange and the Ancient One were the first to rush to the edge of the large hole punched in the stairs. Looking down, they saw a green monster lying on the ground.

The green color on his body was also slowly fading.

Dr. Banner appeared before the two of them.

"Thanos is coming! He's coming!" Dr. Banner said to Doctor Strange and the Ancient One with a serious expression.

Doctor Strange and the Ancient One exchanged a glance, and both saw confusion on the other's face.

"Who?" Doctor Strange couldn't help but ask.

The scene shifted.

"Take it easy, I'm explaining it to you."

"You're talking nonsense!"

"No, I'm not!"

"I don't understand."

In a lakeside park square, Tony Stark, dressed in casual clothes, and Pepper were strolling and chatting.

"You know that feeling when you dream and need to pee? Then you realize, what do you do? There are no toilets anywhere!"

Tony Stark quoted extensively, speaking eloquently.

Just like that, flowing naturally, without any trace of artificiality, he transitioned from talking about needing to pee to wanting a child with Pepper.

You could only say that a genius' way of thinking was beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.

"If you wanted kids, you wouldn't have done this."

Pepper said, pulling open the clothes on Tony Stark's chest, revealing a "triangle" "embedded" there.

She tapped it with her finger.

"I'm glad you brought that up, because it's no big deal," Tony Stark said casually. "It's just a storage unit for the nano-particles."

Obviously, at this point, Tony Stark's armor had been upgraded to the ultimate, coolest nano-armor.

It could truly be carried around the clock, completely compensating for the biggest shortcoming of the Iron Man armor, which was the inability to carry it in real-time.

The armor at this point was truly an impregnable armor.

Next, Tony Stark went all out, and a few words made Pepper Potts beam with joy, throwing herself into his arms.

The two of them kissed, the atmosphere harmonious, beautiful, and romantic.

"Tony Stark!"

But at this moment, a very unpleasant voice suddenly sounded from behind.

Explaining Star-Lord's confusion about Earth.

In Avengers: Infinity War, on Titan, after the Guardians and Iron Man clashed, the following dialogue occurred:

Doctor Strange: "Which master do you serve?"

Star-Lord: "What the hell? How do I answer that? Jesus?"

Tony Stark: "You're from Earth!"

Star-Lord: "What Earth? I'm from Missouri."

Tony Stark: "Idiot, that's Earth!"
