The next day I was in the training room with Layla as she needs to learn how to fight like a vampire as she's apart of my family so she should have a blood ability.
Caroline: Alright, now you know about the 13 Thirteen Families as there were 14 but don't exist anymore so let's get to the blood ability and soul weapon.
Layla: Right.
Caroline: Your blood ability is blood arrow, you can make multiple blood arrow projectiles appear or condense them into one powerful arrow that is faster. Your Soul Weapon is

Layla: I see.
Caroline: Like beast weapons there weapons used by the vampires called blood weapons as they powered by blood crystals. I got this for you since it's not my type of weapons really. Your ring that shields you from the daylight has one as well but yours last forever while others have to charge by going back inside.
I opened my bag to pull out a bow and sword.
Caroline: The bow can create high speed condensed blood arrows and the sword can create a shield for cover or defense.
I handed them to Layla as she studies them but looks at the sword.
Layla: Are you gonna teach me how use a sword right?
Caroline: Yes, and hand to hand cause you won't be with your weapon forever.
Layla: So you don't trust the other Vampire Lords at all it seems.
Caroline: Some are power hungry which why the king is making me his heir so they can't do nothing about it.
