The following weeks were hard as Carden and I avoided each other like we were some sort of plague, today was the day we would be visiting Cardens family after our return from Denmark, they had organized a VIP party to welcome the kids.

In less than an hour Carden kills the engine of his car Infront of the Smiths family mansion, the entire place was filled with NY high personalities and news broadcasters, not like I wasn't use to their kind of parties.

Everything was boring as usual, attending parties with people I have no knowledge about was something I was familiar with, always having to fake a smile at all the guests was really exhausting, and Carden had vanished the moment we got in.
"Hazel, Mom, Dad, aunty Lizzy and Emily approached me, I was so happy to see them again,

The Hall became death silent as Rebecca made her grand entry. I could hear the guests whispering, clearly bad things about me and praising Rebecca for all the good things she did to Carden when he was at his lowest.
