From the balcony on the second floor of the mansion, Azul was standing there, watching the battle happening below. He had been commanding all the monsters to gather here, and their numbers reached thousands.
Then, he saw a burning red-orange flame erupting in one area of the monsters. Suddenly, a sharp pain struck his head, making his vision blur and a flash of memories appear in his mind. He clutched his head with his right hand, while the other hand supported him on the rail.
"Wh-what was that…?" he muttered, breathing heavily.
In his memory he saw the same fire, burning in the night. And he saw a silhouette of a woman, completely engulfed in flame.
After a few seconds, the pain faded. Azul stood straight again.
"Are you alright, Azul?" a voice spoke behind him.
He turned his head and saw a group of Communion, each of them wearing dark robes.
"It is nothing, Mes. Is the princess awake?" he asked.
"Yes. We already put her inside the barrier," Mes replied.
