"No",Raine voice echoed through the hallway,"Please don't,it's my mother's",she pleaded with tears in her eyes.
"And why should I listen to your pleadings, I can't stand seeing it,it's an eyesore",said Bailey,one of Raine's siblings.
"Pls,I promise not to bring it out anymore, that's the only belonging of my mother left with me".
"And so what?,your mother was nothing but a mere mistress,none of her things must be seen near the palace wall, including you, illegitimate product ",Bailey said as the others burst into laughter.
"She will be gone for good soon,after all ,father already accepted the marriage proposal from the Glyde's family",said Humphrey, Bailey's younger brother.
Even tho Raine wasn't happy with the marriage of a thing,there is nothing she could do about it.
And moreover,she will be free from their cage but she is scared of going into a bigger one 'cause the Glyde's are known to be cruel and dangerous,they show sympathy for no one and they are feared by all.Her marriage with them is only an alliance and nothing more.
"Please Bailey,give it back",she pleaded.

Ater more minutes of torture, Bailey and her brother left.Raine gathered the remaining strength left in her and crawl to where her mother necklace is,'the Aurora pendant is still intact ',she smiled.
