Anne was shocked to find out that Clara and Gabriel had gotten divorced. Lawfully, a marriage couldn't be annulled if it wasn't at least six months old, but if she thought about it, their marriage should have already been six months old by now right?
It seemed the fake marriage had crumbled, but what Anne wondered was why.
Clara had promised that she wouldn't give up on Andrew, but so far she had made no moves to try to get him, which made Anne confused and grateful at the same time because she'd had enough of silently battling Clara's unreasonable infatuation.
It would be best if Clara had truly given up, but something about the sudden divorce made Anne uneasy and somewhat suspicious.
She even spoke to Andrew about it but he only said that it seemed Gabriel was coming back to his senses.
The last time Anne saw Clara, there didn't seem to be any hostility in her eyes towards Anne, it made her think that perhaps Clara had chosen to let go of her petty hatred.
