Immediately Anne entered the company, all the hairs at the back of her neck stood on end. She could feel a pair of eyes from behind watching her and when she stopped to turn and have a look, she found two unfamiliar guys looking in her direction, their lips moving in conversation but she couldn't make out what they were saying.
Despite the fact that she was looking right at them, they didn't look away or show any guilt at being caught staring, instead they continued to do so unabashedly which made Anne frown subtly before turning away to head for the elevator.
The elevator dinged open and several employees were already inside, but the weird thing that happened was; the moment they all saw her, their eyes widened as if they'd seen a ghost, then one after the other everyone began to file out of the elevator.
Anne wondered if everyone was going to this particular floor for them to empty the elevator at once, and no one had made any intentions to leave until she arrived.
