With Gray and Natsu going after the 'Shinigami', who was in possession of Lullaby, Erza, Lucy, and I was dealing with all the other Eisenwald members, and it was utterly overkill; Erza alone would've been more than enough, but with Lucy and I, it made things tedious.
"Tsk, this is so boring… None of them are even strong enough to give me a massage." Groaning in boredom, I backhanded one of the mages charging towards me into another mage, flinging them both into several more before they crashed through one of the remaining few walls that hadn't been destroyed. "This isn't supposed to be fun, big bro." Said Erza as she kicked a man in the stomach before backflipping off him and slashing two mages who had lunged behind her, only to deflect long-range magical attacks with her sword.
Rolling my eyes, I glanced at Lucy, who was faring rather well against the horde of mages; she had switched Taurus out for Virgo, summoning her for the first time in battle, and she was making quick work of the mages thanks to her potent earth magic. While I was watching Lucy, I suddenly felt a prick on my back, causing me to look behind me as I glanced at one of the dark mage's failed attempts at stabbing me through my back with a dagger. "U-U-Um." "Tch, fucker, don't touch my back!" Growling, I grabbed the man by his neck and lifted him in the air before violently throwing him out of Oshibana Station through the ceiling.
"Is he going to live, big bro?" "Yeah… He's a mage." Glancing at Lucy, who was giving me a skeptical gaze, she switched her focus to the ensuing battle, and as for whether that mage would live, I had no idea. 'If a mage can't survive a simple fall, it's their fault at that point.' I've killed many people, but that wasn't a death I could claim as my own. Anyway, after a few more minutes, the three of us finished dealing with the dark mages; one tried to escape when they realized their inevitable loss, though as if I'd allow that.
"Good job, Lucy." Said Erza as she sheathed her sword and offered Lucy a nod, acknowledging her prowess, which seemed to excite Lucy, though it made total sense; gaining the acknowledgment of an S-class was probably the dream of every newbie, no matter which guild they joined. 'Though, rather than strength, Erza cares more about one's will and tenacity.' Following Erza, who was approaching the balcony, Lucy ran up to me and excitedly grabbed my hand. "Did you hear that, big bro!? THE Erza acknowledged my help! Ah, I could die a fulfilled life!" Stated Lucy with starry eyes, causing me to lightly chuckle as I dragged her out to the balcony, where Erza was addressing the growing crowd outside the station.
"Leave town immediately! The Dark Guild Eisenwald intends to use the broadcasting station to play the tune of a deadly magical artifact to everyone in the city! Leave while you still can!" Yelled Erza loudly, her voice projecting far and wide through the crowd that got her message; they didn't waste time and quickly began to flee the area. Just as Erza finished speaking, a torrent of wind suddenly engulfed the station, forming a powerful tornado meant to keep us trapped inside and isolated from the outside.
"Must be the work of the 'Shinigami'. I've heard he uses Air Magic." Said Erza with a deep frown as we stared at the massive tornado that enveloped the station to the very skies. "I've got bad news; their plan to use the broadcasting station was false! 'Shinigami' plans to ambush the Guild Masters in Clover Town and use the flute there!" Turning around, we glanced at Gray while frowning at the new, sensitive information. "Bastard wants to kill Gramps!?" Narrowing my eyes at Gray, his gaze hardened while firmly nodding, causing me to growl aggressively.
"Don't get so worked up, big bro. Master is more than capable of handling himself." Said Erza lightly as she eyed me with a firm gaze while I nodded. I wasn't worried about Gramps; such a thought hadn't even crossed my mind, but it was the principle of the matter. However, before my short temper took control, the sound of distant fighting grabbed our attention, prompting us to quickly head to the scene, only to see Natsu fighting an enemy, though he made quick work of him. "C'mon, Natsu, the plans have changed; we've got to get to Clover Town and stop 'Shinigami'!" Yelled Gray urgently, causing Natsu to nod as he jogged toward us, only for one of the previous dark mages Lucy, Erza, and I had defeated earlier.
"H-Hehe, I-I won't let you g-get in E-Erigor's way… T-This whole thing was a trap, meant s-specifically for you, 'B-Beast'." Said the mage as he leaned against the wall while his words caused us to frown, though before we could question him, he suddenly removed his coat, revealing an explosive lacrima strapped to his chest. "Hehe, t-they'll call me the beast slayer!" Inwardly cursing, I swiftly lunged forward and hugged the dark mage just as he activated the explosive lacrima, causing a searing heat to slam against my stomach before being reflected into the man I was hugging, burning him to a crisp.
Once the explosion finally subsided, I dropped the burning skeleton while violently coughing smoke out of my lungs before glancing at my stomach, which had a significant burn mark and was painfully blistering, though other than that, I was relatively fine. "Big bro, you okay!?" Asked Natsu anxiously as he, Gray, and Lucy lunged towards me, prompting me to nod while dismissively waving my hand. "I'm fine, don't worry about me. C'mon, let's get to Clover Town."
Walking to the wall, I broke it with a punch and leaped out of the station, prompting the five to follow as we approached the raging tornado that was preventing us from leaving. "How do we get past this?" Asked Lucy as she glanced at Erza and I, only for Natsu to step forward while taking a big breath. "I'll burn it! Fire Dragons Roar!" Yelled Natsu loudly as he unleashed a torrent of flames from his mouth at the powerful tornado, though instead of destroying it, his flames fused with the raging tornado and caused its strength to actually grow. "Natsu!" "Hehe, s-sorry."
"Oh, I think I've got an idea! Virgo!" Said Lucy as she used her gold key to summon Virgo, who appeared before us. "Do you wish to punish me now, Princess?" Asked Virgo with a blank expression as she pushed her butt toward us, causing my face to twitch. 'Lucy was right… She is a Masochist.' "N-No, Virgo! Create a tunnel for us underneath the tornado!" Said Lucy as she pointed at the ground, prompting Virgo to nod as she leaped into the air before diving into the ground, using her earth magic to dig through the ground while creating a tunnel, allowing us to follow behind her.
Emerging on the other side of the tornado, Lucy was unlucky enough to have her skirt blown in the wind, revealing her panties, though Virgo quickly helped to hold her clothes down. "They're pink." "Damn right, they are." Standing beside Gray, he and I stared at Virgo's plump butt and pink panties, enjoying the wonderful sight, only for Erza to smack our heads. "Focus!" Said Erza sternly while glaring at us, causing me to click my tongue before nodding. "Return to the vehicle, and I'm driving this time, Erza." Eyeing everyone, I stole a final glance at Virgo's butt before running to the vehicle on the other side of the station, prompting everyone else to follow suit. 'I still prefer Aquarius.'
Once we arrived at the vehicle, everyone entered, with Natsu giving Erza a hard time as he didn't want to join, given that he was prone to motion sickness; strapping the SE plug onto my wrist, I surged my magic power into the vehicle, causing its engine to loudly roar to life as it shot forward with such force it was lifted onto it's two rear wheels. "Ugh, s-sorry, Erza." Said Lucy while removing herself from Erza with difficulty. "It's fine… Big bro, if you push the vehicle this hard, it'll overheat!" Glancing at Erza, who stuck her head at the window, the vehicle plopped back onto all four wheels while I smirked. "We have an ice mage, do we not? Tell him to get to work!" "Are you freaking kidding me?"
Despite his complaints, Gray was forced to use his magic to cool the engine, as I had no intention of slowing this vehicle down, and he knew better as well; however, thanks to him, we were able to safely reach Clover town in only three hours, slower than it would've been if I had run there, but still decently faster than taking a train, saving roughly an hour of travel time. Yanking the steering lever to the right, causing the vehicle to drift to a stop outside Clover Town, we exited the vehicle.
"Looks like we arrived just in time."
