Chapter 35 - Ch 35. The Crack.

Eps 11.

"You..."

The sound rustled, thin as a gust of wind in the ear, but piercing like a dagger to the heart.

"Because of you..."

In the depths of the void, in a realm of absolute darkness, there was nothing but a terrifying silence. Only the mysterious whisper of that voice broke the silence.

A single beam of light fell through the darkness, fixing Optimus' gaze.

He lay there, face down, helpless. One arm was mangled, while both legs had been severed, separated from his body. His body was frozen, unable to move, as if all his energy and determination had drained from his core. Only his blue lenses dimmed, emitting a pained gleam, drowning in a sea of boundless sorrow.

"Since you came..."

Optimus swallowed, his voice choked and trembling badly. "My life... is filled with destruction," he hissed bitterly.

"Why me..."

A long sigh escaped Optimus's metal lips again, heavy, full of burden.

"Still alive today?... Elita..."

From the pitch-black depths, a silhouette with glowing red eyes stepped forward. Each step exuded a suffocating aura of menace. "You are weak..." he said, his voice piercing, familiar—exactly like his own, yet twisted with cruelty and remorse.

Nemesis lifted her foot, then planted her boot right into Optimus' chest cavity.

"Mghh!" A muffled sigh escaped, Optimus' breath hitched, but his expression showed complete resignation before the clone of himself.

"You're useless, loser!" Nemesis hissed, her voice thundering with scorn. "Let me have my revenge! I want to dismember their bodies, tear those murderers to pieces!"

Nemesis leaned forward, her gaze burning right into Optimus's lens. "You... always feel sorry for your enemies. Why? Megatron alone has killed countless Autobots, yet you show mercy?"

The taunts grew more piercing, laced with deep hatred. "You're trash! Bastard!"

"Elita is dead... and now you just keep quiet, not responding?"

Optimus fell silent, as if silenced by the bitter truth in every question Nemesis asked.

After uttering words that tore at Optimus' soul, Nemesis Prime turned, stepped over Optimus's helpless body, and disappeared back into the darkness.

"Here I show you how it's done!" Nemesis shouted, her voice echoing menacingly before slowly fading away.

The dark figure then stepped forward, disappearing into the bright light that burned behind an invisible door—a door to the deepest part of Optimus' own darkness.

...

Optimus remained lying on the bare floor, helpless, enveloped in endless darkness. Only a single ray of light faithfully shone upon him, as if the sole silent witness to the fragility of his revealed soul.

***

In reality, Voidecay stood staring at the horde of Autobots from a distance, smoke receding from his steel body. A breath of sorrow could be felt emanating from them.

But then, the look in his eyes lowered slightly, the light dimmed slightly, as if his face was ambiguous, between joy and disappointment.

The trio of Destinus, Nevous, Adist and Timon were not far from Voidecay behind him.

Nervous stepped closer, standing next to Voidecay, his eyebrows furrowed half covering his eyes, "Finally, the bomb went off."

Voidecay paused for a moment. He breathed in the air, thick with smoke and the smell of burning. His neck bobbed, and he mouthed, "Yes... what a shame."

His red eyes then rose again to stare back at the horde of Autobots. His voice was soft and sharp, "One... life is gone, Nervous. Now, who do you think will be the next two?"

Nervous turned to Voidecay who was next to him.

"You said, 'Three of us'. What do you mean there are two lives left?" Nervous asked.

Voidecay took a smile from his lips and said,

"I have won, and Elita is now mine, so she is one of us too," Voidecay said, staring intently at Nervous.

Nervous stared blankly, his eyes buried back in the dark, hollow lines. His steely fists clenched until they creaked.

Nervous asked, "... When are you going to explain?"

Nervous glared back, his steely fists tightening. "...how do you know all this?"

Voidecay was silent, his eye lenses moving, and his eyelids kept blinking, thinking about how to answer.

"Nervous..." Voidecay called out in the silence there.

The sound of metal creaked as Nervous turned to Voidecay.

"You'll find out later," Voidecay's voice was neither loud nor soft. But it was breathy.

***

Cliffjumper, looking down, felt a sense of regret. But there was also a feeling that shook all the Autobots.

Optimus was unconscious, sprawled on the ground. The ruins of the destroyed base were scattered there, and flames engulfed some of the buildings.

"What's this, Optimus is unconscious?" said Cliffjumper.

Ratchet was there, only able to shake his head. His chest was pounding, nervousness mixed with it.

"His heart... isn't beating!" Ratchet said.

"Optimus! Open your eyes!" said Ultra Magnus.

"Come on, wake up?!" Ultra Magnus' voice was weak.

"I'm your best friend, right? For my sake... come on... wake up!" Magnus said.

Sadness also washed over Ultra Magnus' face. He saw his friend lying there, lifeless.

....

"Stop crying!" a mysterious man's voice, loud, sounded from below.

Matrix energy flowed, and blue light illuminated Optimus' entire body. His previously destroyed leg reformed within the blue light, completely restored to its original state. His other arm also recovered.

Her hands gripped the ground. Then her legs began to push herself up. Something else rose from her.

His eyes lit up, not blue, but bright red.

"You are all weaklings. I am sick of this man's naivety," Optimus's piercing voice said.

Optimus turned, facing Ultra Magnus, slowly and firmly. Staring sharply at the crouching Ultra Magnus.

Their gazes shook, and even their breaths felt threatened. Ultra Magnus, stared at by Optimus' terrifying form. His eyes were red and incredibly cold.

Optimus's right hand moved slowly, reaching out. Touching Ultra Magnus' forehead, earlobes, lips, chin.

His hand to his neck.

"USE!!"

But the hand with its steel fingers gripped Magnus' neck.

The commotion began to rise. The Autobots were shocked, scared, surprised, and confused by Optimus before them. They didn't try to help Magnus.

"Optimus!" Hotrod boldly stepped closer to Optimus.

Optimus raised one hand, his index finger wagging in front of Hotrod. The lens then shifted to a cold, goosebumping gaze on Hotrod.

Optimus in a hoarse voice said, "One more step... you'll die!"

Hotrod gulped, his breath stopping at her words.

But his hand was still strangling Magnus. The longer he held on, the more Ultra Magnus's life would be in danger.

Ratchet, took something from his chest pocket. But Optimus knew what he wanted, he immediately said, "If you mess up, Ratchet... My best friend will die!" Optimus smiled madly in front of Ratchet.

Making Ratchet freeze, that crazy look made his whole body tingle, and he was reluctant to continue with his plan.

**Slash!!**

WOO

CRACK!!

Instantly, Voidecay attacked with a sharp weapon, moving very quickly to destroy Optimus' hand that was strangling Magnus.

Voidecay immediately stepped back, keeping his distance from Optimus. His expression, which had been smiling, now turned serious.

Voidecay carries a single giant karambit weapon in his hand.

"Wow, what's this? Why did you save my men?" Optimus chuckled.

Voidecay was completely serious, no more smirks on his face. His gaze was sharp, staring at the crazed Optimus.

Voidecay then said, "Well... Nemesis. You finally showed up."

Optimus's shattered arm emits a blue light, which restores him to normal.

"Uhh... The combination of Matrix and Allspark makes me stronger," said Optimus.

"...Huh, I know you're the strongest, but I... can make you look weak, Nemesis," Voidecay replied.

Voidecay then looked at Ratchet, "Get the Autobots away from here!"

Ratchet stared at Voidecay, not answering with an angry glare. But he still obeyed and led the Autobots away.

"Autobots, we have to go, follow me!"

****

Voidecay slightly remembered what someone said to him about Optimus.

"Scourge. How did he plant the seed deep within Optimus?" asked Voidecay.

Voidecay was in a place. The place was filled with blue plants, and there was a waterfall, on the edge of a ravine with a river below. With a cold gust of wind hitting the black robe of someone next to Voidecay.

They looked relaxed, as if they were old friends.

"Rogi is too smart to exceed my expectations," replied the mysterious man.

The Mysterious Man turned to lean his back against the fence.

"Vecay, I'll give you Dark Energon too," said the mysterious man.

The Mysterious Man stretched out his arm, there was something in his palm, a small, tube-shaped object.

Voidecay took it, taking a closer look at the tiny tube. "This is too little."

The mysterious man then replied, "Vecay, that tube drips Dark Energon Marrow for up to 50 years."

"..." Voidecay breathed a sigh of relief, but his breathing still felt labored. Voidecay then asked, "What's the plan?"

The mysterious man then walked, taking slow, heavy steps back there. "As you wish, if you succeed in creating the antidote, we can capture The Mixer. But even if that fails, there's still another plan, Vecay!"

Voidecay remained silent, leaning back and letting the cool breeze blow. Closing his eyes, he enjoyed it, until he finally said, "Even now, I don't understand why you praise Scourge so much."

The mysterious man, slightly turned his head to Voidecay who was beside him.

Their conversation felt relaxed, not heavy and even spoke as if they had known each other for a long time.

The Mysterious Man then said, "Vecay, the plan is, I want 20 Years from now, prepare yourself. Meet Prime, and end yourself."

"Yeah... maybe I'm just a little annoyed. Why can't I be as smart as Scourge," Voidecay replied.

"Voidecay... even though it's not a big deal, your actions make me admire you!" said the Mysterious Man.

"Taken, I doubt this mission. Can't—"

Looking to the side, it seemed the Mysterious Man had vanished without a trace. Voidecay wasn't finished yet.

****

Back from Flashback to the current time story.

In the strong wind, carrying light air pollution, her hand gripped tightly around a large karambit. The wind stung her eyes, but her eyes imagined something flashing through them with every blink.

The Prime is no longer the driver. His body is now controlled by a passenger, whose skills take him on a different path and crash through all obstacles, as if the brakes were just a gimmick.

"Voidecay... that bastard Prime just sleeps, never takes his enemies seriously, and hides behind the words 'Haven't mastered the Matrix' Fuck!!" Optimus said.

"Are you done barking?"

Voidecay suddenly uttered a terrifying sentence.

Optimus or Nemesis, tilted his head, his gaze piercing.

Voidecay then took something out of his pocket. He showed me a syringe, shaped like a USB data cable. But the tips were very sharp and small.

"This is your anti-rabies, dog!"

....

"Why is that guy suddenly so serious?" Nervous asked from a distance.

"This is dangerous, Nemesis has risen in Optimus' body," said Adist.

Nervous then turned his head, his face confused as he stared at Timon.

"What? You think I have another plan?" Timon said.

"This is out of control, we have to make a plan. Because of the current changes in Voidecay," Nervous continued.

....

Optimus, or Nemesis, was furious. Voidecay had called him an animal.

Yush!!

Optimus glides very fast.

BANG!!

Optimus immediately hit Voidecay, with his knee.

His sudden attack, hit Voidecay in the stomach, and sent him flying, pushed far away and rolling on the ground.

For just one second, Optimus or Nemesis shows his power.

Slowly, although it felt a bit tight in the chest, fortunately only a drop of blood flowed from both nostrils.

Voidecay rises again after being hit by Nemesis or Optimus' attack.

'This is crazy, he just made me look weak.' Voidecay muttered in his mind.

Glancing at the source of the attack, Optimus lunged with his knee. However, the frenzied attack was powered by a blue energy beam from the Matrix and the Allspark.

The syringe and the vaccine in the tiny vial flew out of Voidecay's hand, rolling through the burning ashes.

Voidecay then quickly got up and reached for the vaccine. Realizing this, Optimus immediately sprinted away.

Without much action he immediately kicked Voidecay further away.

Optimus then looked at the tiny vial containing the vaccine. His expression narrowed, and his eyelids tightened, hating the vaccine.

Without hesitation, he then lifted his foot and stepped on it.

"Good... slowly, you will realize your stupidity!" said Voidecay as he tried to get up.

"Oh, so that's how it is. Just touching the body already feels the effect," replied Optimus.

One eyelid was strangely closed, seemingly trembling for no apparent reason. Optimus/Nemesis realized he didn't have much time.

This is dangerous, Voidecay apparently has an antidote.

'Good... this way, everything will go according to plan.' Voidecay muttered.

Voidecay once again remembered Taken's old words to him. "Optimus is like an egg with two xanthophylls."

Voidecay muttered, 'You'll be a live subject, Optimus. You're showing some interesting early effects.'

Optimus walked closer to Voidecay, "What's the scientific name of your vaccine? Trash?"

Voidecay then stood up and stretched his neck a little.

"Hatching!"

"What? What a terrible name. Hatching art?" Optimus said, cornering Voidecay.

"Hatching eggs!" Voidecay smiled.

Optimus chuckled, "Hehehe... you are such a bastard!"

NYUSHH!!

The ground shook, as if an earthquake were occurring. Then, giant tentacles emerged from the ground and crawled out.

The tentacle moved nimbly, and caught Optimus with its sticky, slimy surface.

YES!!

Optimus immediately used his axe to slash the tentacles that were trying to catch him.

BUK!

One tentacle managed to hit Optimus, and his teeth gritted with glee. In one retaliatory slash, he severed the tentacle.

"Come on Voidecay, don't try to rely on these disgusting tentacles!" said Optimus.

"With pleasure!" Voidecay looked back with a cold, serious expression. His opponent this time had to be treated more seriously. He couldn't be taken lightly.

Taken, a client of Voidecay, once said that Nemesis, within Optimus' body, could never be separated. They had become one entity, held together by the analogy of "one egg but two xanthophylls."

Voidecay conducted various experiments, only to find an answer to how to overcome Dark Energon. He found a way, because the nature of energon in each person's body is different, resulting in many victims. But he did find one method, which he still keeps to himself.

Voidecay readied his large Karambit weapon in his hand, taking a horse stance, ready to fight.

Optimus still holds the axe in both hands, the axe is filled with Matrix and Allspark energy which Optimus is currently using.

**WUSH!!**

Without any warning, Optimus took off.

THING!

Optimus' axe scraped Voidecay's karambit. The force of Optimus' axe's thrust was so strong that it knocked Voidecay back several steps.

Voidecay summoned a large tentacle from the ground to propel himself powerfully.

Voidecay took out another weapon at the end of his arm, a sharp weapon.

Until Optimus, without him noticing, Voidecay responded with a stronger push, and Voidecay stabbed Optimus' arm with the pointed weapon.

His hand ached, and that was when Optimus realized. The sharp weapon contained a vaccine.

Frustration welled up on Optimus' face, prompting him to retaliate by using the combined power of the Matrix and the Allspark.

Optimus spread his arms, a scowl on his face, fed up with Voidecay. He always had some underhanded tricks up his sleeve.

WOO

A blue, spherical light appeared in one palm. A red, spherical light appeared in the other palm.

PLAQUE!!

Both hands clapped together the two balls in one clap. The ball turned purple.

"Oh no!" said Voidecay.

BEER!

Purple light shot out like a bullet.

Voidecay quickly ran to the side and dodged all the shots. He was forced to perform stunts like somersaults and various other maneuvers to prevent Optimus from easily predicting his moves.

BEER!

The bullets that landed immediately exploded on the ground, sending out purple sparks. The explosion was so large that the battlefield was filled with nothing but purple sparks.

'Looks like he's shooting slowly like a sniper,' Voidecay muttered in his mind.

But it seems Voidecay guessed wrong. When Optimus shifted his arm position, he suddenly fired a burst of bullets like a machine gun.

Explosions were inevitable, one after another with each shot.

BOOM!!

The Autobots were almost hit. But then the tentacles snaked out and buried them inside.

The sight made Optimus even more cornered, his anger exceeding the heat of fire.

Without hesitation, he gathered another ball of energy. He held it in both palms, emitting an even brighter purple light in his grasp.

WUSH!

It shot out like a horizontal laser beam. It glided towards Voidecay.

Voidecay immediately summoned a tentacle, and the light immediately struck the tentacle in front of him. Voidecay immediately moved from his position, as the tentacle was quickly destroyed by the heat of the purple light.

The laser was so hot that it burned the surrounding area within a radius of hundreds of meters, turning it black with embers and flames.

Voidecay continued to rely on the tentacles as shields, though they were barely able to hold them back.

Voidecay took a deep breath, then exhaled. Preparing for something bigger.

From the bright flames, Voidecay's silhouette emerged. He stepped through the blazing, hot flames, still burning with sparks.

"Looks like I'm going to have to spit on your vaccine, Optimus!"

The gaze focused on Voidecay's foothold. Several Autobots realized how Voidecay had summoned those tentacles.

Because they just saw, that from Voidecay's footstep, it looked like something was moving down from his feet repeatedly.

Hotrod's sharp eyes watched clearly with their optical zoom. He remained silent, observing every aspect of the battle. However, the Autobots themselves were confused about which side to take, Voidecay or the out-of-control Optimus.

An earthquake was felt underfoot. From the black silhouette, Voidecay's position rose higher and higher. Finally, the light revealed him.

He stood, on top of a tentacled creature, blue in color, a creature with a rubbery organic body, but gigantic in size, 5x the height of a normal Cybertronian/Transformer.

(The creature is shaped exactly like an octopus, but is half Cyborg)

Voidecay's legs finally came into view, fused with the octopus creature.

Optimus stared silently at Voidecay above. His eyes twinkled, a frown crossing his left eyebrow.

"What madness is this?" Optimus asked.

Voidecay responded by shouting loudly, "Spray the vaccine now!"

The octopus then released something from the gap in its tentacles, causing purple gas to come out of there.

The gas is not just ordinary gas, but the gas contains an antidote vaccine for Dark Energon.

The gas spread very quickly, making Optimus have to hold his breath and quickly get out of the gas cloud.

However, the liquid that had previously only touched his skin immediately showed its effects. It seemed this gas would also show its effects even if it only touched his steel skin.

"Ugh!! Ugh!!"

Optimus coughed. Still, he inhaled the gas.

Bowed down, hands gripping the ground, feeling the view around me spinning, and very blurry.

****

Optimus woke up and opened his eyes, his head and body felt like they were lying among grains of something like sand.

The surroundings were bright. A beautiful blue twilight sky with clouds.

It turned out he was lying on the sand.

Optimus sat up. Looking at his arms and legs, he saw they were completely healed, though the paint on his body was still faded.

Optimus looked around. He was in a vast, seemingly endless expanse of sand.

Turning to his side again, he saw the ocean, with its waves washing over the sandy shore, and the rays of the sun, almost sinking into the ocean.

Optimus then tried to stand up slowly, checking his body's condition.

I saw someone standing on the edge of a wave. He couldn't be seen clearly because of the glare of the sun beside him.

The blue light in his eyes sparkled. As if he knew whose silhouette was before him.

The person seemed to turn and look at Optimus.

Optimus was frozen, but his mouth was trembling, as if a feeling of throbbing was also shaking him.

"No way..." he said.

That person was none other than Miss Elita-1.

Elita-1 stands before Optimus, even though we know that Elita-1 has a slimmer and shorter body than other Cybertronions.

Optimus then lowered his knees, making himself the same height as Elita-1.

"No... you should have—"

"Yes..." Elita-1 said, replying to Optimus's words before he finished.

A cool breeze blew past them, in a silent world, there was only the sound of the waves crashing against the sea.

Miss Elita-1 then said to him,

"You've been holding on to too much pain."

Elita-1 reached for Optimus's large hand, and stroked it.

"And I... never helped you."

Optimus then said, "That's not true. It's my fault... I... don't deserve to apologize... I..."

"Shhh!!" Elita-1's voice whispered.

Miss Elita-1 then continued, "This is not your fault... It's all, it's not anyone's fault. Mistakes are for learning, Optimus."

Optimus' palm was then placed on his chest by Elita-1 with her hand still holding Optimus's.

"Don't let it happen, because of me. You forget our duty." Elita-1 then shed tears.

Elita-1 continued,

"You never lost me, Optimus. Don't forget, my heart is in you. Please, don't regret your past mistakes towards me."

Optimus shed tears.

Elita-1 continued,

"You won't be able to touch me anymore. Don't worry, I'm safe. I'm safe, there's no need to worry about me anymore."

"We'll be together here again, happily. After you complete our task!" said Elita-1.

Optimus's voice was trembling and thin as the wind.

"I can't, Elita. I can't do it anymore. I always fail to save everyone I care about. I'm not a savior, I'm just a murderous bastard."

Someone from behind, gently patted Optimus on the shoulder.

"My brother can't be a loser like this!"

When Optimus turned around, there stood the man closest to him, staring at him with a smile and bright blue eyes. It was Megatron, or D-16.

"Don't be stupid, don't keep putting yourself down like that. You look annoying!" said Megatron/D-16.

Optimus lowered his gaze again, unable to look at either of them.

"I can't, I'm... too weak..." Optimus said.

Megatron then sat on the sand to the right of Optimus. Elita-1 then sat with him on the left.

"Wow, you guys were sitting there enjoying the sunset without calling me!" Justice came in with a cheerful face. He then sat down next to Megatron.

"You said earlier you didn't want to come!" Megatron said to Justice.

Justice replied, "Say you want to see the sunset!"

Megatron and Justice joked around, their relationship seemed very close.

"HEY!! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY MEGATRON!!" a Cybertronion woman ran fast, her eyes fierce, she was angry. A woman who was also familiar.

HUPP!!

The woman immediately grabbed Megatron from behind his back, and prevented Justice from touching him.

"He's mine, damn it!" Justice said.

"Oh no!" Megatron said, his eyes flat and almost lost. As if he had surrendered to the shaking of the two women.

"Hehehe!" Elita-1 chuckled at their antics.

The woman who was holding Megatron's head then realized that next to her, there was Optimus Prime.

"Ehhh!! You're Orion Pax... Your appearance! Huhh!!!" said the woman.

"You're so sexy! Kyahhh!!" The woman said, her eyes sparkling with love.

"But... For me, D... sixteen is still handsome!" the woman continued.

"Let him go, you bastard!" Justice said.

Elita-1 then said to Optimus, "What do you think?" he asked.

Optimus lifted his mouth slightly, a small smile. Seeing the happiness around him.

"Back there, everyone is happy!" said Elita-1.

Elita-1 then stood up and pointed behind them. Optimus then stood up and looked there. Megatron, the woman and Justice then looked there together.

The woman got off Megatron and stood next to him, even though Justice was also standing next to her.

As soon as I saw it, I saw how beautiful the scenery was. The Cybertronians cheered. Some were playing a volleyball-like game. Others were taking photos of the sunset. Others were grilling food.

"Why is everyone here?" Optimus asked.

Someone then appeared from beside Optimus.

"I'm the one who invited them to vacation here!" the person said.

It turned out Cylob was there, wearing sunglasses to enjoy the sunset.

"Wow... you're burnt! Ah... maybe you'll have to repaint your body when you get there," said Cylob.

"Hey, but... why is Optimus here? It's not time for him to be here yet!" Cylob said.

And yes, the people who were engrossed suddenly turned to the distance where Optimus was standing there.

"Your task is not complete, you are not allowed to stay here!" Cylob whispered.

Optimus then said, "You're right..."

Optimus then looked at everyone staring at him. He felt something gathering in his chest.

The people there unexpectedly then flocked to run closer to Optimus and immediately gathered in front of him.

There was no look of resentment on his face. Everyone bowed their heads, and said, "We are very grateful, Optimus!"

"Thank you for always thinking of us."

"You've tried your best for us."

"We're sorry we haven't been able to give you anything yet."

....

Optimus froze, his heart racing. His mouth felt like it weighed a ton as he watched the people suddenly bow before him.

Elita-1 then said, "They're out there, still need you, Optimus. Trust me, the Matrix never makes a mistake in choosing a leader!"

Megatron/D-16 added, "And the Decepticons would be abandoned without me!"

Cylob then took off his sunglasses, "I'm grateful... especially to you. You've worked so hard to take care of me, you've been like a father to me. You don't have to feel so guilty like that... Come on, that's not you!"

Optimus's heart wavered, the doubt finally leaving his heart. He stood up, clenched his fists, and his confident expression returned. Right in front of the Autobots there.

"... However, my enemy is currently within me, I must not let him use my body as he pleases," said Optimus.

"... I... promised, I will keep my promise. I swear, I will not come here, before my task, is finished." said Optimus.

Optimus then bowed respectfully to everyone there. Elita-1, Megatron, Justice, and everyone else there. Then he also bowed to Optimus.

Optimus then raised his head again, and everyone raised their heads as well.

Then someone shouted, "AUTOBOTS!!"

The crowd shouted in unison, "ROLL OUT!!"

"AUTOBOTS!!"

"ROLL OUT!!"

"AUTOBOTS!!!"

"TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!!"

A special slogan for the Autobots to their leader. This is actually a slogan that Optimus always used to say during the war.

This time, Optimus' confidence returned. Everyone's encouragement helped him. He would return to defend the Autobots.

****

On the other side of a very dark place, in the same place there will be emptiness, which is only illuminated by a single light from above.

Nemesis crouched alone, he was in his worst condition.

"Uh-huh!! Uh-huh!!" he barked.

His breath was labored, an incredibly itchy feeling in his throat, and he wouldn't stop coughing.

Someone stood before him, so close that his feet were visible. Then that person, sitting before him, was Optimus Prime.

A sharp, angry glare, with a burning heat emanating from it, Nemesis clenched her fists, but the pain in her throat and chest stifled her anger.

Optimus then said to Nemesis,

"We are weak, Nemesis!"

"You're too naive!" Nemesis gritted her teeth. "Enough of being a slave, you bastard!!"

"Cough!! Cough!!" The cough sounded like the sound of an engine starting. "You're selfish."

Nemesis was at her worst, crawling due to the intense pain in her chest.

Optimus was silent for a moment, then his smile grew brighter.

"Thank you!" said Optimus.

Nemesis froze, suddenly forgetting how to breathe, and shivers ran down her spine. Her eyes didn't blink as those words came out of Optimus' mouth.

Optimus then continued, "In fact, you were always here."

Optimus then stood up, staring with trembling eyes at Nemesis below him.

"We?! Cough!!... I... did this to..." Nemesis fell silent like someone who had forgotten.

...

Optimus then held out his hand. It opened like a beautiful flower petal, ready to be opened.

"Nemesis... I need your help!" said Optimus.

Slash...

Nemesis smacked away.

His sharp, wolf-like red gaze still radiated from him.

"Get the fuck!"

Optimus stared at the palm he had pushed away. He clenched his fist gently. His eyes were lowered, staring silently at it.

Optimus stood there silently, his eyes closed in the dark silence. He took a slow breath and let it out.

Tap!!

In one swift motion, Nemesis's body was thrown, dragged along. She struggled, but this time she couldn't hold on any longer. Optimus grabbed Nemesis's hand roughly.

"Hey!! Let go of me, fucker!" Nemesis shouted.

...

"Hehehe..."

The laughter cut through the silence — low, drawn-out, but familiar.

Not the voice of Nemesis. And not the echo of Optimus.

They froze.

The beam of light above them remained silent—like a lone beacon in an endless black void. But the voice… sounded too close.

Too real.

Optimus glanced around, but only darkness stared back.

Nemesis tensed, his hands half raised, as if ready to ward off something unseen.

But there was nothing there.

Just that voice...

"...which sounded like it was standing right behind their ears."

...

Nemesis heard it, she tried to keep quiet to hold back the itch, and squeaked with her breath stuck.

...

Dong...

A new light flashed—cold, pale white—falling from above and forming a small circle on their right.

Optimus and Nemesis reflexively turned around.

At first, there was just emptiness. There was nothing.

So-

Tuk.

A knocking sound hit the bare floor.

Tuk.

Slowly, from behind the shadows, it appeared.

A tall figure, like a Cybertronion... but wrong.

Her body was too thin, her steps too light, like a broken doll being forced to walk.

The light caught his eyes first — two orange spotlights burning, unblinking.

Then that smile.

Metal teeth, many, too many, grinning until they almost touched his temples.

It didn't say anything.

Just standing there, letting himself be seen… like he wanted to be stared at for too long.

...

Their chests felt heavy, their breaths gasping as if they had just run a marathon.

...

"Optimus Prime... and... Nemesis Crime!" The person's mouth moved, the sound coming out of his mouth like the sound of chewing on steel.

"We have to hurry!" Optimus turned, a loud stomp, pushing his footing as he dragged Nemesis along.

Behind them, a bright white light shone on a mysterious man.

Tuk.

A slow step forward.

Tuk.

The next step, sweeping the dust on the floor.

Only the white light shone from the shoulders, the body was covered in darkness, but only the orange eyes and teeth of the smile were shining.

Optimus reached for the door, and threw Nemesis behind it.

Optimus moved quickly into the door and closed it before the monster caught up.

....

The air around him felt hot. He opened his eyes, feeling something different about his hands. His eyes were still blinded by the surrounding light, but slowly everything began to come into view.

"You came at a bad time," Nemesis' voice said.

The Autobots froze with their mouths open. They were even more shocked when they saw Optimus, whose eyes were a mix of blue and red.

Dark purple energon smoke still billowed from his body, as if he were half-conscious. Optimus rose in the smoke.

His sharp gaze fixed on Voidecay, who was up there. He was shocked to see Optimus survive the cloud of Dark Energon smoke.

The tentacle monster descended, entering the ground. Voidecay landed on the ground. Slowly walking closer. Cheeks crinkled in a smile.

The two faced each other, staring into each other's eyes. Voidecay chuckled, while Optimus seethed with rage like a volcano.

"This isn't over yet!" Voidecay said with a smile, pointing his arm at Optimus.

Confused, not knowing whose side to take. But all the Autobots can do now is pray to Primus. Hopefully, Optimus will remain on their side.

Optimus took a deep breath, exhaling through his mouth. "I surrender!"

The Autobots were shocked, many jeered at what Optimus had just said.

"What did you say, Optimus?" asked Nemesis, speaking through Optimus.

Optimus froze, only the sound of his breathing could be heard.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?" Nemesis shouted at Optimus.

Optimus takes the weapon, but it's part of Nemesis's control.

"Listen up, Nemesis!" Optimus said.

...

Voidecay smiled, relaxed, this was easy. With one hand still pointed at Optimus.

"However, oil and water."

Voidecay grips.

Dung!!

His heartbeat stopped. Optimus instantly fell to the ground.

Voidecay then raised his other hand. Both hands clenched, and he groaned as if it felt incredibly heavy, like he was lifting 500 tons. "RGGGG!!"

Optimus even groaned in pain.

Steel, on Optimus's body, moved. On his left, his hand rose. His hand moved lengthwise along with half the steel on his body.

GROOK!!

Voidecay and Optimus felt an extraordinary pain.

What Voidecay was trying to do. Optimus looked tortured and it looked like he was trying to tear him apart.

Slowly, something emerged from Optimus. Optimus suddenly had two heads. They slowly dragged along with his outstretched arms.

Nemesis...

Moaning in pain.

Voidecay crouched down, exhausted, all his strength gone. He gasped and gasped for breath as if his lungs were exhausted.

Optimus collapsed on the ground, unconscious. His condition returned to normal.

But the Autobots seemed frozen in a locked gaze.

Slowly a squeaking sound was heard near Optimus.

Nemesis...

Staring at his large palms, which were exactly like Optimus', he felt them all over his body. Looking around at Optimus, he realized that his body was separate from his.

"No way!" ucap Nemesis.

He heard his voice change, no, it wasn't like his voice should be. It wasn't like Optimus' voice.

The footsteps of Nervous, Adist, and Timon were heard. They quickly moved and stood before the critically ill Voidecay.

"Voidecay!" Nemesis called out. She immediately glared at him.

Nervous in his heart muttered, 'Voidecay, why are you doing this?'

Nemesis then turned to Optimus with a look filled with disgust and hatred. He walked over, sat down next to Optimus, and pressed a button on Optimus' chest, unlocking the vault where the Allspark and Matrix were stored.

Nemesis tries to touch the Matrix.

NYUSHH!!

The touch sent a powerful electric shock through him. He tried to touch the Allspark, gasping for breath and slowly moving his hand—because the slightest mistake could result in death.

His fingers began to feel, and with a little effort, the Allspark was easily released.

He glanced at the cube-shaped Allspark, glowing blue, that was already in his palm.

"You're annoying!" Nemesis said. His footsteps trailed off into silence.

"That's enough, let us go!" said Nervous. Forgetting that his trembling hand gripped the sword, Nemesis was so terrifying—now he had a body of his own.

"Cylob... then Elita-1... who knows what song will be next because of you?" said Nemesis, staring sharply like a lion about to pounce.

Nervous took a deep, shaky breath. "Okay..."

Nervous clenched his fists, "End it!"

Nemesis swung her hand, a bright blue light from her palm, forming a ball—ready to obliterate her revenge.

...The sound of an explosion, a sound that sounded like it was underwater, quiet, but the sound of the explosion was still heard.

"OPTIMUS!!"

A woman's voice called out, shattering the silence. It was a familiar voice, coming from the right, not far from the battle area.

Nemesis, turned around. Her eyes widened, shocked by what she saw.

"S-Signy?"

...

Nemesis, steps slowly, but backs away.

"Are you really still alive?" Nemesis's voice was barely a whisper in the silent breeze.

Signy's face, slowly crumbled in helplessness.

"Who is that woman?" asked Bulkhead.

"No way, that's Signy! Is she still alive?" Ultra Magnus said.
