At the country side Kassandra just learnt her father had been rushed to the hospital but she felt nothing for him. Her brother Pete had taken the night train back to their home town and he was just over the phone with her informing her about their fathers health condition.
"Don't you think you should let go and visit him just this once" Michelle said taking her seat next to Kessy.
"He's long dead to me" said Kessy and Michelle sighed deeply
"You know I won't force you against your Will but believe me when I say you'll be in greater pain if you don't go see him for the last time not minding the pain he put you through. Look at you now you've achieved what he had deprived you of, you could as well go and show him what you've become without him and let him feel the pain rather than you imprisoning yourself to your hate towards him" Michelle told her.
"Thanks a lot Michelle, you've been a great source of hope and a renewed strength". Kessy said hugging her.
"It's for the best my dear" said Michelle returning the hug.
"Group hugs!" Moon and Katrina said as they both joined their mothers in group hug.

"What did she say?" Mrs Bold asked her son
"Not good mom" Pete told her and she sighed knowingly
"We can't blame her if she doesn't come, she got lots of reasons not to and we all can testify to that" said Mrs Bold even though her emotions contradicted her words.
"It's okay mom" Pete said giving her a side hug.
"Mrs Bold here are the test results and your husband will be needing some blood donor as we don't have his sample in our blood bank" the attending doctor said as he hands over the test results to her but she gave them to her son.
Pete who was O-(negative) saw the results and sighed inwardly
It's time for the rejected stone to become the chief cornerstone' Pete thought but didn't tell his mom. Among the Bold siblings it's just Kassandra Bold and their grandma who are of same blood type with the Bold patriarch. With the old lady gone Kassandra is the next but will she let go of all the pain inflated on her by this same person.
"Pete did you get what the doctor just said, your dad needs to be operated on as soon as possible" Mrs Bold said to her son.
"Mom we'll find a way" he reassured her before walking away to make some calls; after about four calls he felt exhausted as he couldn't get an AB- donor for his father.
'it pays to do good' he thought going back inside but was surprised to see his mom sobbing silently but wiped her face when she noticed him.
"Mom you should go back home I'll stay back" Pete told his mom but she waved her hand in a no.
"You got to go so you won't miss your flight and just in case you were able to get Kessy tell her mom still loves her dearly and if possible she should call mom_ I truly miss my child" she whispered the last part but Pete heard her still.
