Cent Clark who was sat at the far end of the conference table was shocked and spell bond to see the one who's gonna become the Successor of the S market.
The very person who has now become the president of his company and also the brain behind all his companies designs it's none other than Olivia Roy.
Was she the one who gave me those shares? Off course who else would it be, she probably gave that as compensation' Cent Clark thought as it now made sense to him.
But it wasn't same for Edward James, he scoffed inwardly as he wasn't expecting to see the very person who trespassed into his home last night becoming the Boss of S market, it hasn't been 24hrs since their encounter.
" Am enthusiastic and as well looking forward to working with you distinguish ladies and men of great honor" she said the last part focusing on Edward James who had know facial expression as she slightly bowed indicating the end of her speech.
"Ms Roy, it's quite a surprise to have you here and I most say you sure know how to pull the Bull by it's horn" Cent Clark said when he finally had the opportunity to speak with her.
"Thanks for noticing that" she said sipping from her juice.
"How about a date?" Cent Clark asked.
"Am sorry but I don't do dates" she stated dismissively.
"Oh, that hurts" Cent Clark said dramatically touching his chest in a hurt way but Maria knew him just like the back of her hands.
"It won't be fair to have some other male as a date"
"Why's that? Cent Clark asked but someone was fast enough to reply before she could.
"She's married" said the voice and they both turned to see it's none other than Edward James, who stood with his hands in his pants pocket lazyly leaning to the wall.
Maria didn't expect him to say that and was wondering if he had uncovered her secret, despite her training and her new found personality she still knows she can't cross him and last night was a mistake she stupidly let happen.
"You're married_ to him?" Cent Clark asked.
"Yes am married and to whom it's none of your business; if you may excuse me gentle men I believe" she said before walking away from them.
"It's a shame to have the great James lose to a woman" Cent Clark couldn't help but say when he noticed Edward James about walking out as well. He couldn't just keep it up not getting under his skin.
"Not bad for someone who's companies are still rightfully in his hands" Edward James said with sarcasm gritting his teeth.
Cent Clark was left speechless once again by him but he wasn't ready to let go just yet.
"What's the joy in owning tons of wealth without the happiness or the one you truly love?" Cent Clark said but Edward James wasn't gonna fall for it.
"It's better than someone hidding in a summer black house" Edward James said and walked away going out of the venue.
' nothing can escape you indeed' Cent Clark murmured to himself, referring to Edward James who knew who he was.

He had asked his assistant Dave to search for Cent Clark so he could be sure of his daughter's safety and that of Maria who he had believed is at Island but found out she's long left but kept someone to impersonate her so he'll not suspect she's gone.
