'Seriously, what's this buzzing in my head? Is this what blessings feel right?' I thought as I felt my mana being changed just a little.
All of my mana have not only becoming qualitatively better but I feel even it's quantity was bring increased, if previously I could use a spell 10 times then now I can understand it probably 20, no, 25 times.
"Everyone can open thier eyes." An ethereal voice echoes as I slowly opened my eyes.
All around me were sitting on thier knees in a praying position just like me, in the centre of the stage stood a lady in her twenties.
Soon, everyone stood up before bowing in the direction of the priest, "May Gods watch over us." Said the blue eyes lady in priest clothes.
""May the Gods watch over us."" We repeated her words as I looked around.
Some looked dejected, while other have bright smiles on thier faces which they couldn't hide, not like they were even trying to.
I guess a few failed to receive thier second blessing... I thought to myself with a sigh. Fortunately, I received the blessings... I thought as suppressed the urge to try a spell or something.
Soon, everyone started to leave the room, some Happy while some sad, most hopeful about the future.
As I watched them leave, I waited for a few more seconds before I made my way towards the Priest lady.
"Lady Ariana, aren't you tired?" I asked the blue eyes priest as she smiled and patted my head.
"Not at all, how can I feel tired while doing God's work? If anything, it's an honour." She said as I looked at her before shaking my head.
"You say that, but I remember last year you were so exhausted that you don't leave bed for 3 days."
"The kid have grown up huh." She said pulling my ear slightly as I showed a pained expression even though it doesn't hurt at all... Only because she never pulled with the intention to hurt me.
Anyways, after I recieved my first blessings and get a bit more freedom to enter and leave the orphanage, I often came to the church not only to pray but also to do a lot of voluntary services for the church.
That's why I am a familiar face here, and know quite a few people who work in here, like gardner, cleaners and others including Lady Ariana, who probably is the best person in the church.
Not probably, she is!!
I mean, she is kind to everyone, plays with me and even Alex when we are free, and even offers me cookies she cooks.
Without a doubt, she is one of the few people that I trust completely... She is just like an older sister to me.
"You should get some rest Lady Ariana." I said with a sign after she released my ear.
"Fine," she said, "My work is about to be done anyways. Besides, I think you should leave, your friends might be waiting outside." She said as I chuckled.
"Well then, see you tomorrow!" I said before leaving as I made my ways towards the exit.
Unlike my first time here, I was pretty familiar with this place, even taking a short cut through the garden to reach the main gate.
Thankfully, there was so self proclaimed clown who appeared on my way and before I know it, I was at the exit before quickly spotting Jay and Mira as I made my way towards them.
"Hey guys! How was it?!" I said as I walked near them... However, halfway through, my steps paused, when I saw the kind of look Jay has on his face.
Just from his face alone, I know the answer of the question I asked previously... He failed to receive his second blessing.

.
The walk back to the orphanage was quiet as Mira kept glancing at Jay, biting her lip, clearly wanting to say something before she wasn't able to hold herself anymore she she offered a few words of encouragement to him.
I too tried too cheer him up to bring him back to his normal self but in the end, we both failed when...
"Enough," He said, "You guys… you just don't get it, you both are blessed while I am not. All you both came do is give me some empty words."
We have known him for years, but for the first time, we have seen him like that, It caused both of us not know what to do and eventually, we just walked back with him silently.
When we finally reached the orphanage, the familiar creaky gate welcomed us and at the door stood a familiar boy that I was very familiar with... It was Ryan.
"Tch… here." He said throwing a letter toward me, his face clearly showing that he doesn't like me at all as I took the letter, without saying anything about his attitude... I was used to it.
Which apparently made Ryan a bit more annoyed as he clicked his tongue. "Why do you even get letters, huh? You think you're some big shot or something?"
Without waiting for a response, he turned around sharply and stomped back inside, muttering curses under his breath as I signed and shook my head... Atleast he changed a bit after director gave him a job here.
Seriously, I hate that bastard.
"Who is it from?" Mira asked as I looked at the letter in my hand, "That, I wonder..."
