Chapter 120 - The Marine Meeting at Marineford

"Rather than unrealistic widespread distribution, it's better to ensure each division commander gets one first! Each one costs 200 million Berries, so a dozen or so would amount to 30 to 40 billion Berries! With some adjustments here and there, the funds can always be secured!"

However, Vista was feeling a bit troubled.

As a swordsman, he had been inseparable from his twin swords for countless years!

He and his swords were practically one, But now he was faced with only two choices: Either become a three-sword style user or painfully replace one of his beloved swords with a Zanpakuto!

On one side was the Zanpakuto, which could drastically increase his power and on the other were the swords that had been with him for decades.

Vista was truly at a loss!

At this moment, Jozu walked over. "Vista, why the long face?"

Jozu took a big bite out of a chicken leg and spoke with his mouth full.

"Isn't Pryce invention of the Zanpakuto supposed to be a joyous occasion?"

Vista sighed and poured out his frustrations.

"What's there to think about?" Jozu shrugged and said. "Once the Zanpakuto is produced, everyone's going to get one! I've never used weapons, but even I had to admit the Zanpakuto is a game-changer! If it's really a problem, just use the Zanpakuto as a shield or charge it up before battle and unleash it at a critical moment!"

Jozu words were concise and to the point.

Vista nodded.

Even Jozu could see the logic clearly—why was he so confused?

Meanwhile, Doflamingo was feeling a headache coming on.

Now that the Zanpakuto was about to be distributed to each of the whitebeard Pirates' division commanders, on the day of Ace public execution, the Warlords would have to face these commanders and they'd undoubtedly be on the receiving end of those Zanpakuto strikes!

Just thinking about it made Doflamingo head spin.

After some time, Whitebeard, seeing how excited everyone was getting, knocked on the table.

"Alright, everyone, get some rest and continue training when you wake up!" Whitebeard said to the others.

"As for the Zanpakuto, start working on it immediately. The funds will be ready soon" Whitebeard turned to Pryce and spoke, a hint of guilt in his voice.

After all, Pryce had just finished handling the production of explosive tags and now he was being burdened with another task.

Pryce, however, nodded indifferently.

He was eager to start manufacturing the Zanpakuto.

The faster the funds came in, the more Zanpakuto could be produced and the quicker he could accumulate points!

Hearing this, Doflamingo bid farewell to Caesar and returned to his ship.

He then set off for Marineford.

Marineford, Marine Headquarters

After two days of travel, Doflamingo ship finally arrived at the Marine port in Marineford.

A Marine Rear Admiral, who had been waiting for some time, led Doflamingo into a massive conference room.

In the conference room sat the newly appointed Warlord of the Sea, Blackbeard Teach, with his thick black beard.

Next to him was the stunningly beautiful Empress Hancock, though her delicate brows were furrowed in thought and then there was Hawk-Eye Mihawk, who sat with his eyes closed, yet exuded a faint aura of killing intent.

Gecko Moria and Tesoro were also seated beside Doflamingo.

Doflamingo himself lounged comfortably in his chair, his legs casually propped up on the table.

Soon, the door to the conference room swung open.

Admirals Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru entered in unison, their steps perfectly synchronized.

Doflamingo glanced at the three through his sunglasses, continuing to whistle and swing his legs.

At the head of the table, Akainu shot an impatient look in his direction. Before Akainu could speak, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Vice Admiral Garp, and Vice Admiral Tsuru walked in.

"Yo, long time no see!" Doflamingo waved at Sengoku with no hint of respect, his attitude utterly arrogant.

"Sengoku!"

"Doflamingo, since you're here, sit properly!" Vice Admiral Tsuru glared at him and spoke calmly.

Hearing Tsuru words, Doflamingo, who had been about to say more, immediately straightened up in his seat.

"Alright, Granny Tsuru!" Doflamingo nodded.

"Everyone, the reason we've called you here today is to discuss the public execution of Fire Fist Ace" Sengoku cleared his throat and began.

"For you Warlords, your primary task that day will be to hold off the division commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates! Of course, our Vice Admirals will also assist you in dealing with those commanders" Sengoku added seriously.

"Hold off the Whitebeard Pirates' division commanders?" Doflamingo sneered. "Sengoku, are you joking?"

Sengoku frowned.

Akainu stood up angrily. "Don't think I won't touch you just because you have Celestial Dragon blood! You're a Warlord now, but you're still a pirate! This is Marine Headquarters. Watch your tone and attitude!" Akainu barked angrily.

"Akainu, calm down!" Doflamingo adjusted his sunglasses and casually hopped onto the conference table.

He then pulled out a Den Den Mushi from his pocket and tossed it over.

"Here, I'll let you see the latest situation with the Whitebeard Pirates for free!" Doflamingo grinned, his tone dripping with disdain.

Hearing it was about the Whitebeard Pirates, Sengoku immediately became alert.

"Akainu, let's watch first!" Sengoku waved his hand and Akainu, still fuming, reluctantly sat back down.

The recording began to play. It showed Kaido causing chaos on the Moby Dick!

"I never expected Kaido to go looking for trouble with Whitebeard!" Sengoku said, clearly surprised.

"There's nothing interesting in the middle. Let's skip to this part!" Doflamingo fast-forwarded the recording to the moment Kaido was captured.

"Expected, really!" Garp looked at Kaido, who was tightly bound, and spoke earnestly.

"It's no surprise that Kaido can't beat Whitebeard now! But even Whitebeard can't do much to that guy!"

After all, Kaido had caused plenty of trouble for Whitebeard and the Marines, and every time it ended with him being captured!

Even the Marines had tried countless methods to kill Kaido, but none worked—not even forcing him to eat a Devil Fruit could bring about his death.

"Keep watching!" Doflamingo said with a sneer.

"The surprise is yet to come!"
