Chapter 47 - Magic Department - Official Tactical Code

The East Cloud Academy's North District Calculation Tower's sixth floor is the temporary tactical headquarters of the Magic Club. A "East Cloud Tactical Map," which extends to the edges of the conference room walls and is densely packed with light points, symbols, and spell labels named after Von K, occupies its center. Today marks the day when the Magic Club's tactics are officially integrated into the academy's collaborative system. The academy recognizes this as the [Tactical Subject].

"The Strategic Department just approved the spell instruction set we submitted," said Canglu, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she unfolded a thick document. "This is the officially numbered 001 spell module, code name: CARDINAL-SIGMA."

Von K took the document and quickly scanned it.He understood that 001 marked not only the starting point of the tactical system but also the Magic Club's leap from an "interest group" to a "tactical organization."

"This coding will serve as the baseline terminology for all future collaborative tactics," Elfi added. "Levels of spell division, casting order, support types, and mana costs must all conform to this structure."In other words, we are no longer an outsourced unit," Livia said, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall with a slight smile.

"But qualified war architects," Von K said softly.

At the same time, a soft sound came from outside the door, and three figures entered the meeting room.

—The delegation of the Mentor Association, visiting the Magic Club.

The leader, dressed in tactical gray robes, had sharp eyes like a hawk. He got straight to the point: "Spell Tactician Von K, congratulations on passing the first round of spell tactical validation. The Mentor Association will establish a special support fund for the Magic Club and grant you the authority to collaboratively construct tactical coding."

The conference room fell into a brief silence, followed by a murmur of excitement. This meant that the Magic Club would be the first tactical organization in the academy's history to have an independent coding system.

"But we have conditions," said the representative of the mentors in a cold tone. "In three weeks, you must execute a 'Tactical Demonstration Battle.'"

"The real combat opponent is the Swordsmanship Club's Special Combat Team."

The air seemed to freeze.

Von K slowly nodded. "Understood. We accept the conditions."

After the mentors left, the conference room fell into a brief silence.

Canglu broke the silence. "We have to face the Swordsmanship Club."

Livia smiled. "Interesting, isn't it? Just as we're stepping into the mainstream, we're about to get pulled off our horses."

"Then let's win," Von K said calmly, pointing at the tactical map on the table.

"Magic Club—official tactical coding starts today."

"Code name: M-CODE-ZERO."

All the symbols on the map lit up again, and one spell line after another gradually formed like the Magic Club's new pulse beginning to beat.

📌Character Quote: Elphy: "Tactical coding isn't meant to be written into history. It's meant to be used in the next conflict, so you can proudly say, 'This is the language of magic in battle.'"
