"Empress Veroso." A man dressed as a butler said to the older looking woman dressed in red and gold dress. "We have arrived in Dreso."
"Thank you, Markus." Thanked the woman setting down her half empty glass of champagne. "Inform the Prime Minister that I'll arrive shortly."
"Of course." The butler said, giving his Empress a bow.
Tapping the arm of her chair the woman looked outside the window. Below the world stretched out beneath her, revealing farmland and towns. She was here a month ago, but due to the Zari Queen getting injured somehow, she had left Dreso. This time however they were truly going to meet.
"Wonder how that little girl is doing." The woman mused. "Would be great if this rattled her and she decided to come to me for… help."
If Zenesha did that, perhaps she could gently seize control of her nation. Which rightfully belong to her and her family. The Heart family are traitors, but she couldn't afford to fight them while still dealing with the White Ash.
With a sigh she reached out and grabbed a cracker with cheese and popped them both into her mouth. She'll deal with that girl when the two of them meet in Dreso.
=======
"How interesting."
"You got the news as well?"
Two figures in a dimly lit room conversed with one another. They sat on separate chairs as they watched the tv in front of them. While there was a news channel currently on the screen in front of them, that wasn't what they were talking about.
"It seems my family drama has decided to grace this world." The masculine voice said with a hint of disgust.
"That thing?" The other scoffed with a distinct feminine tone.
The two of them fell into an uncomfortable silence after that as they thought about this person. They were the cause of a lot of drama in recent times, and after being missing for a few years they just happen to show up again on this planet?
"Whatever the case, they should be gone shortly." The male said. "I never trusted their intelligence, but if they have even a little sense they would be trying to leave as soon as possible."
"I hope not, I wish to meet this infamous sibling of yours."
"You're bad company."
=======
A man with long loose golden hair formed as they looked at their surroundings. There was a sudden influx of void energy. Normally it wouldn't be noticeable from so far away, but the sudden sharp and dramatic increase concerned them.
"What could be attracting such creatures to this world?" They wondered with a frown. Their light blue eyes that seem to look gold in certain angles looked west. "Most of them seem to be showing up in the old Veroso Empire territories."
They didn't know what this meant for the world, but with the Celestials gone, there was no one to regulate properly. The only thing they could hope for was that a bunch of people decided to summon voidlings instead. That way they at least know they're bound to contracts and will be sent back to their realm when the contract is finished.
Forsaken or higher is a cause for worry, however.
"I'll have to discuss this with the others, for now I must prepare for my current duties."
=======
The Condors were currently investigating Laura. This would take time since she wasn't a citizen, nor did she have an online presence. With their spies in other countries, they should be able to figure out her identity eventually.
Danial Cox leaned back in his chair as he thought about his second in command Julia. The credit was given to their Queen, making it seem like Laura merely assisted but didn't do much themselves. Which didn't make sense to him.
First was the fact Laura seemed to treat her job very seriously, he doubted she would just sit back and do nothing. His second reason to doubt was that they didn't even try to give her proper credit. She's the Queen's new bodyguard so it would make sense to give her accomplishments even if it's fabricated.
It was like Zenesha and Laura were trying to keep the wolf out of the spotlight. It was weird, but Danial wouldn't question it for now. First, he had to prove the woman's identity then once that was settled, he'll bring his concerts to his Queen once again if it felt like it was needed.
Still, he missed Julia, she was a traitor, but she was also really good at her job. The new temporary assistant wasn't cutting it. With a long deep sigh, filled with his complicated emotions, Danial leaned forward and got back to work.
