Scene 1:

*Opening Scene* There is a young man who is looking sad, down in the dumps.

Puppet 1: (Young man down in the dumps)

"Gee, I feel so down in the dumps. I am sad."

Suddenly, a mysterious and beautiful woman (Puppet 2) appears.

Puppet 2 (Mysterious Beautiful Lady): (exaggerated concern) "Oh... Hey there handsome. You seem to be sad and down in the dumps. What's wrong?"

Puppet 1 (Young Man) Hi there, beautiful mysterious lady. Oh, did I mention that you also seem very mysterious and quite beautiful?!

Puppet 2 (Mysterious Beautiful Lady) (smiles and nods approvingly)

"Well you are saying the right things. Do go on…"

Puppet 1: "Well anyway, I am very sad. Because the girl I love is sick."

Puppet 2 (Mysterious beautiful lady): "Oh… I'm so sorry to hear that young man. Well since I am in a good mood, How about this. Here, take this book and give it to her. Tell her to follow the instructions inside…

Puppet 1 (Young Man): Oh. Okay! Thank you!

*The Mysterious Beauty Puppet hands the Young Man Puppet the book and he accepts it*

Scene 2:

In a Hospital ward, a pretty girl is propped up on some pillows on the bed.

Puppet 3 (Girl that the young man likes)

"Oh. I am not well. But at least I have my love Puppet 1 (Young Man that likes her)."

Puppet 1: (Young man that likes the girl)

"Don't worry. I will find a way to save you…!"

"Oh. By the way, today a mysterious and beautiful lady gave me something and-."

"-Beautiful lady?" Puppet 3 (Pretty girl) cuts in, her eyes narrowing. "-Gave you something?"

Puppet 1 (Young Man) turns aside to audience ("Oh no! I messed up")

(Hastily) "N-Not as beautiful as you of course, my love!!!"

"Humph." (Puppet 3 pouts, but she seems a little mollified)

Puppet 1: "-but yes she gave me something, and it wasn't for me, it was for you. Because I told her you were sick, and then she told me to give this to you and to follow the instructions..."

Puppet 3 (The Pretty sick young girl)

"Oh? What is it?"

*receives the book from Puppet 1 (Young man)*

*Starts to read the cover of the book*

Puppet 3 (pretty sick Girl): "The- Sutra of the Seven Deadly Sins…?!"

*keeps reading aloud*

"Sloth. Greed. Wrath. Envy. Lust. Pride. Gluttony."

"These are the base energies that can exist in people."

"This Sutra aims to harness these energies, and rewards the Practitioner with Life Energies equal to the amount of the Deadly Sinfulness that you incite another person to generate."

"The more of the Seven Deadly Sins you can cultivate in this world, then the greater the life force, and the greater the rewards!!!"

Puppet 1 (Young Man): "Uh… wow. That sounds dangerous. But did it say Life energies? C-could this really make you well?"

Puppet 3 (Sick girl) "I-I don't know."

*continues reading*

"Please note however that you cannot cheat the Law of Net Positive Zero."

"Whilst you could receive positive life energies equal to the power of the Seven Deadly Sins that are manifested, the persons that generated the Deadly Sin would still have to pay the price…

"In addition, you cannot force anyone to manifest the Deadly Sin - they must freely choose it out of their own Free Will…"

"This of course, also includes you, the Practitioner. This Sutra is also something that you must consciously choose to Cultivate…

"The Choice is Yours."

Puppet 3: "I see."

Puppet 1: "Oh I have to go so that the bad guy that has been keeping an eye on us can now enter the picture… I will let you decide for yourself what you want to do. But Maybe you can study the Sutra before he arrives..."

Puppet 3: (Sick Girl) (puts on a cheerful brave face) "O-Okay!"

Scene 3

Puppet 4 (Token and Generic Bad Guy): "Hmm. I feel lazy, I am full of sloth... I also feel hungry, and want to eat a lot, like a glutton. I keep eating but I'm still hungry. Oh wait. I see Puppet 3. Oh she is so pretty.

I am now full of lust for Puppet 3. Wait. What? How come she seems to like Puppet 1? I am angry, full of wrath now. I am also full of envy for Puppet 1!!! I feel like I'm better than him. Yes, Now I am full of pride. In fact I want Puppet 3 all to myself. Am I being greedy?

Narrator: What do you think, everyone? Give me a thumbs up if you think this guy is good, or a thumbs down if you think he is bad…

*the audience show their thumbs down*

*cuts back to Puppet 4 (Token Generic Bad Guy) licking his lips*

No matter… I will find a way to make Puppet 3 Mine!!!!!! Mwahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this point, Jemima quickly skimmed the rest, Author cleverly getting her to do it so that he would avoid readers asking about where the rest of the script was, whilst simultaneously cutting it off at a cliffhanger moment to further whet the esteemed reader's anticipation for what might come next…

In fact.

It turned out that Puppet 3 was faced with a crucial choice. She could either struggle against the incurable illness… or… she could give the Sutra a go.

It involved making the choice and wholeheartedly embracing the Seven Deadly Sins and accepting her role, and it wasn't an easy road to follow…

If she choose this option, to survive, she would have to become the ambassador of the Seven Deadly Sins in the World, with potentially serious consequences for the persons who lost themselves in their base desires, although her 'sinful' mission was offset somewhat by the fact this was ultimately everyone's free choice - the rule was that she could not coerce anyone to do something that they didn't want to, including herself…

In fact, it was such a moral dilemma that originally, Puppet 3 (the sick girl) had even considered throwing away the Grimoire, having considered resigning herself to her fate, and being unwilling to be the vessel that might fan the flames of the Seven Deadly Sins in the future…

But.

There was ultimately one thing that made her decide, and choose this Path for herself, aside from adding some food for thought into the plot…

Puppet 1. (The Young Man)

The chance for a fairytale life of love together that illness, that fate had seemingly, cruelly denied them…

Now they had a chance to make it come true…

That's right.

Could there truly be love without sacrifice?

In fact, this was in a way the Story, the Tale of an Ultimate True Love… and the Ultimate Choices that were made along the way.

Black and White, and all shades of Gray…

…This was the Message of The Unholy Play…!
