Bob as a result was focusing on improving his own connection with himself as well as others, whilst Sally was also navigating and coming to terms with whether to reveal to Bob that Allie was in fact Sally, in order to continue progressing the plot.

To cut a long story short, Sally realised that she there was nothing to lose in opening and revealing herself to Bob. The worst that would happen was that he wouldn't be able to handle it, and then she would know that perhaps, it wasn't meant to be...
She was mainly worried initially about this, but in the end, after enough thought and reflection, she realised that at the worst, then there were plenty of guys out there, and well the AI companions and cats were also a possibility... 👀
