Ciel, starts off brutally by rocking the earth that he himself and his sister stand on, in order to break Aria's balance. He then casts winds spells to propel himself towards Aria. Once close enough, he goes in to punch her in the face.
However, Aria uses the tip of her staff to hit Ciel on the chin. She then grabs him by the wrist and performs a shoulder throw, slamming him to the ground, his face landing on the grass
"You just can't accept it, can you? You think you've had a tough life? What did you think I felt when you left?"
Ciel struggles under his sister's grasp, trying to break out. "You've at least had mother longer than I, not to mention Everard is an actual father to you!"
Ciel casts wind spells in a circular motion to throw his sister off, the spells empowered by his dark magic. Once he breaks free from Aria's grasp, he channels the wind into his movement and launches a spinning hook kick aimed directly at her face.
Aria, is sent backwards from the force of the kick. Her lip bursts. She wipes her face and rushes towards her brother, swinging her staff down on the grass. The water inside the grass and the dirt follows the swinging motion of the staff, as it crashes down on Ciel.
Ciel tries to block the force of the water, but it sends him backwards and down on the ground. He then casts fire spells around his feet and kicks himself upward just as quickly as he fell down. The fire keeps Aria away from attacking him again.
The flames quickly turn abyssal black and they burn up to Ciel's fists, covering his hands. He throws out multiple jabs and crosses into Aria's face, the fire making his jabs feel stronger than a full punch. When Aria closes her eyes to protect them, he slams his elbow on her face, knocking her back. He then brutally follows up with an uppercut to her chest, knocking the air out of her lungs.
Aria, shook with the full force of Ciel's punches, tries to catch her breath. But she finds herself unable to.
Ciel, could very well take advantage of this moment. But he decides to step backwards and waits until his sister recovers fully.
However, he's immediately punished for doing so as Aria slams her staff right down to his neck the moment she recovers. She then positions the staff at the back of Ciel's neck and pulls him into a devastating drop kick. The staff breaks with the full force.
Aria doesn't stop when Ciel is stumbling backwards. She strikes Ciel's head with the cushioned tip of the broken staff piece, just as Ciel is about to hit the ground. As Ciel falls, Aria throws out the other piece of the staff to hit Ciel.
Ciel, struggles to get back up. But soon as he does so, he is met with his sister's brutal whip. Aria had casted a water spell and formed a whip out of it, hitting Ciel in the chest, tearing apart his clothes in half and sinking into his flesh.
The cool water whip leaves a hot burning sensation on Ciel's skin as blood draws out. He wakes up with the pain and casts out a gush of wind to keep the whip away, just as Aria tries to hit him with it again.
The pain fuels Ciel's anger and he creates a barrier of flames emerging out his forearms. The barrier blocks the whip, then Ciel shapes the barrier into a sword and starts to rush towards his sister with rage.
He cuts through every swing of her whip and blocks it, keeps moving towards her. He goes into thrust his weapon at her neck, but Aria quickly swings the whip in a circular motion and blocks the incoming strike.
Before Aria can do anything else, Ciel swings his sword from the side. The flame burns through Aria's wrist and hand, injuring and burning her. Aria, then grabs Ciel by the back of his head and slams her knee into his jaw.
With the impact, Ciel's fire spells burn out. He tries to coat his body with mana to block the strike, but he doesn't make it in time. He gets knocked on the ground, trying to recover.
"Stand down, you mad bastard!"
The words linger on his ears. 'Mad'... He springs back into action and drives his palm into Aria's nose. Without stopping, he follows up with a left hook to her jaw. Then, grabbing her by the sleeve, he executes an inner-thigh throw, sending her crashing onto the ground beneath them.
However, this doesn't knock Aria out of her game. She grabs Ciel by the collar and pulls him down with her. Once down on the ground, she slams her elbow on Ciel's face.
Ciel, in order to fight back, tries to punch her on the face but misses. Taking advantage of this, Aria presses her hands together and hits him in the nose, breaking his nose and creating a bloody mess on his face.
Without stopping for a moment, Aria delivers a bunch of punches on Ciel's face. Ciel, coats his face with his mana in order to block some of the impacts, but Aria coats her fists with her mana to fight back.
Ciel, after taking multiple hits to the face, fights back with all his anger and strength, headbutts his sister. Aria stumbles backwards and Ciel elbows her in the jaw, right before she falls to the ground, he follows up with a right hook.
But while falling down, Aria gets leverage from the ground with her hands and kicks Ciel in the face with all her strength. This knocks him back. She then gets back up and creates another whip out of water.
But just as she is to whip Ciel, her whip is met with an ice wall. Behind the ice wall, Kou resides. The whip cuts right through the ice wall. "Stop! Please." With this, Aria is shocked. She sighs and the water whip falls down to the ground as droplets.
Ciel looks up; with shame, blood, sweat and tears on his face from the pain. "Kou, get out of the way."
"I won't! She was about to kill you, for gods' sakes!"
"I'd rather die!"
Kou, grabs Ciel by the collar and picks him up. "Are you insane?! If you end up dying, how do you plan to stop the guys who stole the stupid map? Or even eradicate magic?!"
Kou's words sink into Ciel's brain like nails on a wooden board. "...I just wanted to have... this much..."
Kou lets go of Ciel, as he sits up on the blood covered grass, marked with his blood. "I didn't want to be the heir, didn't want to be the head. I just wanted to feel like I could..."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Aria yells with some of her anger.
"All my life, I've been behind you all. I just... I just wanted to feel like I was worthy of taking Everard's position."
None of them have an answer to this. But Ciel keeps going. "I... I never could match up. To either of you, not him not you. Not as a person or an artist. I'm really not the right person to set out on the quest I have, but I'm the only person to do it."
"Ciel, you've never been behind. Until now. You put yourself behind us, when you were ahead."
"No, no, you don't understand. I've been out of here for ten whole years, now I come back here acting like I deserve to be the head."
"Yes. That's what put you behind. You acted on something you wanted, not something you deserved. But you could be so much more than a clan head. There is things we can and we can't do in this world, being the clan head doesn't suit you."
Aria turns around to face Ciel. She stares down at him with anger behind her eyes, slowly easing off but never burning out. She casts a water spell and throws it at Ciel's face, cleaning the blood and tears. However the force of the spell knocks him back.
After cleaning Ciel's face, Aria turns around and starts to walk back into the mansion. Kou and Ciel are left alone on the front yard, Kou, having just witnessed another side of Ciel has questions.
"Were you always... like this?"
"What are you talking about?"
"I mean, did you always have these types of feelings about your family?"
"Yeah, kind of."
"I thought you were, I don't know, the cool guy." While Ciel wonders what Kou might be talking about, Kou creates a thin layer of ice on Ciel's whip injuries and helps him get up.
"I thought you were the rogue who doesn't abide by the laws and can carry himself around no problems."
"So you thought I could do everything I wanted?"
"I guess, yeah." Ciel, turns around towards the mansion and starts walking, he doesn't face Kou. "Sorry to disappoint." He says while walking back inside.
Kou scratches the back of his head in confusion. Having just witnessed the brutal fight between Ciel and Aria, it reminds him of his brother and himself. Except the fighting is cranked up to eleven.
Inside the mansion, Ciel is met with his father sitting down on the ground in front of the table, eating a plate of different fruits. "I heard your fight out there." His fork sinks into the watermelon in front of him. "I expected you to fight better, but I suppose it was Aria you faced, so I'll excuse your failure."
"No need, old man. I don't need a petty excuse for that." He walks past the kitchen, into the living room, Aria just having washed her face and dried it off with a towel, sits on the couch.
"Sister..." Aria, looks towards Ciel with annoyance written all over her face. "What do you want now?"
He walks inside, stepping closer to the couch. "I just wanted to... apologize. If you'll forgive." Aria gets up from the couch and walks towards Ciel.
She then holds him by the collar and headbutts him in the face with all her might. "That's payback! Now get the hell out of here!"
Ciel falls to the wooden floor and winces in pain, grabbing his face. "Argh! We leave tomorrow!"
"You think I care?!" She closes the door of the living room right in Ciel's face, with fury all written across her actions and words.
