"I'll find you right away, Roy!"

Lucario sprinted through the dense forest, desperately searching for Roy, but he had strayed far from his intended path.

The undergrowth grew wilder and more tangled with each step.

Sharp branches scratched at Roy's exposed skin, leaving painful wounds across his arms and face.

However, Roy didn't dare stop moving. Panic clouded his judgment as he ran blindly through the trees, with no clear sense of direction.

His heart pounded relentlessly in his chest. Behind him, an enraged Abomasnow pursued him with terrifying determination.

The massive footprints left in the soft earth shocked Roy—he had never imagined that even a bulky Pokémon could run so much faster than an ordinary human.

"Hah... hah..."

Roy could only hear two sounds: the deafening thuds of footsteps closing in behind him and his own ragged, heavy breathing echoing in his ears.

Abomasnow's speed was incredible—so fast that Roy felt certain the Ice-type would catch him and tear him apart at any moment.

Roy veered toward a thicker section of the woods, hoping the dense trees would slow down his pursuer.

Suddenly, Roy noticed that Abomasnow's footsteps seemed slightly quieter, and the vibrations shaking the ground had weakened somewhat. He quickly skidded to a halt.

It worked!

Roy didn't waste time catching his breath. He immediately reached into his pocket, grabbed his Poké Balls, and threw them forward in rapid succession.

The Poké Balls burst open one by one. Electivire emerged first, spreading his arms wide and glaring with fury that had reached its maximum intensity.

Ninetales appeared next, gracefully taking her position. She immediately summoned a powerful Blizzard, the fierce winds carrying massive chunks of Hail within them.

As if channeling the anger of the Pokémon who released them, the Blizzard surged forward relentlessly, rushing straight toward Abomasnow's face.

Abomasnow had anticipated that Roy would release his Pokémon the moment the boy escaped from his line of sight.

Abomasnow had been secretly observing Roy and his companions for quite some time.

He had waited patiently until Roy had wandered far from Kommo-o's territory, yet still remained a considerable distance from the beach. That was when Abomasnow decided it was time to reveal himself and strike.

His first attack had been an Ice Punch, attempting to eliminate Roy silently on this isolated island.

Unexpectedly, Roy had dodged Abomasnow's attack with surprising dexterity, almost as if he had predicted the move in advance.

Abomasnow was absolutely certain that Roy hadn't been aware of his presence—otherwise, the boy wouldn't have separated himself from his group, leaving himself completely alone without any Pokémon at his side.

Yet somehow, Roy had avoided the attack.

Thinking quickly, Abomasnow had summoned an ice field, hoping to slow Roy down and limit his movement.

He had calculated that Roy wouldn't have time to retrieve his Poké Balls and summon his Pokémon while running at full speed.

If Roy stopped even for a moment, Abomasnow's icy terrain would catch up to him, crushing the boy before he could call out his Pokémon for help.

Abomasnow hadn't wanted to resort to such measures, but...

The image of a battered Trainer's face flashed through his mind—bruised, desperate, begging. Abomasnow hardened his resolve and continued his pursuit without mercy.

But this human is surprisingly clever...

Abomasnow observed the incoming Blizzard and realized that Roy had seized the opportunity to summon his Pokémon after all.

However, Abomasnow showed no intention of evading the attack. Ice-type moves posed little threat to him as an Elite-level Ice-type Pokémon.

Countless tiny ice crystals materialized instantly in Abomasnow's massive hand.

He released them, channeling his energy to accelerate the projectiles. The ice fragments shot forward, covering an extremely wide area.

Ice Shard!

Roy naturally retreated behind Electivire for protection. Electivire understood Roy's intentions perfectly and spread his arms wide in response.

Blue sparks crackled between his arms as he blocked the ice fragments shooting toward his direction.

Protect!

This defensive barrier was Protect.

Since Ninetales had created the Blizzard, most of Abomasnow's Ice Shard naturally targeted her position, sending more ice fragments in her direction.

Although both were Ice-type Pokémon, Ninetales was still far below Abomasnow's level in terms of strength.

The Ice Shard projectiles that struck her body were extremely painful, but Ninetales refused to cry out, showing remarkable resilience.

She gritted her teeth, displaying none of the complaining behavior she sometimes showed during training sessions.

This wasn't a joke anymore—this was a dangerous Pokémon trying to take Roy's life!

She absolutely wouldn't beg for mercy!

With that determination burning inside her, Ninetales glanced toward Electivire and gave him a slight nod.

Electivire immediately understood Ninetales' signal.

In the next instant, Electivire rushed at Abomasnow from the side, his furry fists wreathed in red flames.

Fire Punch!

Electivire's blazing fist connected with Abomasnow, who had no time to react to the sudden assault.

Abomasnow's eyes widened in shock and horror. Where did this opponent come from?

Abomasnow's white fur was scorched black by the Fire Punch, and the acrid smell of burnt hair filled the air.

Abomasnow had a quadruple weakness to Fire-type moves, and Fire Punch dealt double damage to Ice-type Pokémon as well.

While such precise calculations didn't always apply perfectly in actual battles, there was no doubt that Electivire's punch had been devastatingly effective.

Abomasnow barely had time to react. He summoned a large ice field around himself defensively, but Electivire rushed forward once more with fierce determination in his eyes, fists clenched tightly.

"Brick Break!"

In the next moment, Electivire reached Abomasnow's side, transformed his fist into an open palm, and brought it down in a powerful chopping motion.

The ice field obviously slowed Electivire's speed, giving Abomasnow just enough time to dodge the incoming strike.

BOOM!

Electivire's hand strike missed Abomasnow and crashed into the ground instead, creating a small crater from the impact.

Abomasnow spun around and raised both hands slightly, palms facing the Electivire standing before him. He released several green, razor-sharp blades that cut through the air like knives.

Razor Leaf!

The distance between Electivire and Abomasnow was extremely close, leaving Electivire almost no room to react properly. He could only do his best to dodge one or two of the projectiles.

The remaining leaves sliced through Electivire's skin mercilessly, leaving bloody cuts across his body.

Immediately after releasing Razor Leaf, Abomasnow was struck by an Ice Beam that came flying from another direction—Ninetales' counterattack.

Despite being wounded by the Razor Leaf, Electivire didn't retreat even half a step. He continued circling around Abomasnow, constantly moving to find new angles of attack.

He used Fire Punch repeatedly to harass Abomasnow, keeping the pressure constant.

Facing coordinated attacks from two different directions simultaneously, Abomasnow was quickly becoming overwhelmed.

Furthermore, he had already expended considerable energy earlier by diverting attention and concealing himself while stalking Roy.

Abomasnow roared furiously, summoning powerful winds and a devastating blizzard around himself.

This was a Blizzard move unleashed by an Elite-level Pokémon!
