Chapter 639 - Chapter 639: Big Mom's Frenzy

Whole Cake Island, Sweet City, in Totto Land.

"SOUFFLÉ!!!"

Charlotte Linlin's eyes were bloodshot, her expression vicious. Her enormous body lumbered through the city constructed of colossal desserts, each step causing the ground to tremble.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Ah, Ah… not this one…"

"Nor this one…"

The female Yonko searched frantically throughout the city. Under her terrifying, brute strength, the various dessert houses continuously collapsed from her attacks, and the air was filled with constant rumbling wherever she went.

"Run! Hurry! Big Mom is having a tantrum!"

"Stop her, quickly!"

"Why? Why is this happening here?"

"Mama, please stop!"

"Mama, you're going to destroy the capital!"

The citizens of the city fled in terror, desperately trying to escape the rampaging Yonko. Even the executives of the Big Mom Pirates dared not approach her at this moment, merely shouting from a distance to try and stop her.

"I WANT SOUFFLÉ!!"

Charlotte Linlin bellowed wildly, her eyes blazing red, and she slammed her fist into a three-story biscuit building.

BANG!

The three-story biscuit structure was instantly pulverized and collapsed with a deafening roar, sending large fragments of biscuits flying everywhere.

"Mama, please stop!"

"Mama, the town doesn't taste good!"

A little sun and a white cloud floated beside Big Mom. They had human-like eyes and mouths and were desperately trying to intervene.

"Get out of the way! I want soufflé!"

Charlotte Linlin angrily waved her giant hand to brush them aside.

Meanwhile, inside the kitchen of Whole Cake Chateau.

"Is the main dish ready yet, soir?! The casualty count has already exceeded three hundred!"

Baron Tamago, a long-chinned gentleman of the Longleg Tribe who wore sunglasses, a pink suit, and eggshell-shaped pants, and carried a cane, rushed in. He anxiously grabbed a chef and demanded an answer.

"Baron Tamago, it's not that simple!" an elderly Head Chef shook his head.

"What exactly is it? Is it that difficult to make?" Baron Tamago asked with a grim expression.

"Soufflé is universally recognized as the world's most difficult dessert to make; it's a type of specialty cake." The elderly Head Chef nodded, simultaneously using a Den Den Mushi to give orders: "I need to do something special with the flour. Get me some sweet oranges!"

"The most difficult dessert… what an impossible problem!" Sweat beaded on Baron Tamago's forehead, and his jaw dropped.

Moscato, whose hair resembled an ice cream, walked into the kitchen just in time to hear their conversation. His face immediately paled. Grasping his hair, he muttered with difficulty, "Why now, of all times? The tea party is tomorrow. Are we going to host our guests among ruins?!"

Baron Tamago heard Moscato's words and his expression instantly changed. As an executive of the Big Mom Pirates, such an incident would be an absolute disgrace to the crew.

On the massive balcony of the central atrium on the third floor of Whole Cake Chateau.

Jinbe stood alongside Aladine, a man with a flowing topknot ponytail and a long beard, whose left arm bore a tattoo of the letters '1TC'. They were surrounded by over a dozen Homie Chess Soldiers. Both men stared in shock at the rampaging Big Mom in the distant city.

Aladine was wearing a long vest with the Sun Pirates' emblem, the sun mark, on his left abdomen. Unlike Jinbe, he did not stand on two legs but possessed a fish tail.

Aladine, the former doctor of the Sun Pirates and now the First Mate, was the groom-to-be, marrying Charlotte Praline, one of Big Mom's daughters.

"What in the world is happening?" Aladine spoke, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth, his shock undisguised.

"To attack her own city... has Big Mom gone mad?" Jinbe watched the scene in disbelief.

"Oh no! Mama's eating disorder has flared up!"

"At this rate, is Mama going to destroy even Whole Cake Chateau?!"

"Quickly, someone stop Mama!"

The Chess Soldiers burst into a flurry of panicked whispers.

Seeing that these Chess Soldiers seemed to know something, Jinbe quickly grabbed a horse-headed Chess Soldier and asked, "What is the meaning of this?"

"Mama has an eating disorder called 'craving sickness.' Once it flares up, she falls into a frenzy and destroys everything around her. There's no way to restore her sanity except by having her eat the specific food she craves, or by defeating her!" the horse-headed Chess Soldier explained, sweating profusely.

"Craving Sickness…"

Jinbe felt the situation was incredibly difficult. Defeat Big Mom? That was nonsense!

Boom, boom, boom, boom...

"SOUFFLÉ!"

In Sweet City, the ground was cracking, houses were being demolished, and Big Mom's destruction continued.

Two hundred meters away from Big Mom, at an intersection, a group of people stood in the middle of the road, horrified by the scene.

Mont-d'Or, with his red, bulbous nose, looked at the family members around him and asked with a terrible expression, "What do we do? If she keeps destroying things, the city won't be repaired before the tea party tomorrow!"

"I just asked; the soufflé still needs some time to be prepared!" Galette slid the Den Den Mushi she was holding back into her purple feathered cloak, her pretty face also looking strained.

"We have to find a way to lure Mama out of the capital!" Perospero gripped his candy cane and turned to look at Katakuri beside him.

"It can be done, but we alone might not be able to successfully lure Mama out of the city," Katakuri looked up slightly, his tone low. "If a fight breaks out inside the capital, the radius of destruction will only increase."

Hiding behind his tall Biscuit Warriors, Cracker was sweating. "Are we really going to fight Mama? My Biscuit Warriors won't be able to withstand Mama's attacks!"

Whoosh~

Suddenly, a ripple appeared in the air.

Katakuri noticed the disturbance immediately. His entire body tensed up, and he spun around to look.

"Who is it?"

Following suit, the other members of the Charlotte Family also sensed the commotion and turned around one after another.

"Hey, don't be so tense. Is this your special way of welcoming a guest?"

Aeridar shrugged, looking at the Charlotte Family members with a teasing smile.

"It's you!"

Seeing the newcomer, Katakuri didn't relax at all; instead, he grew even more vigilant.

"The tea party date is tomorrow, isn't it? Aeridar-san, why are you here today? And why haven't you brought any of your crew?" Perospero extended his long tongue, licking his candy cane a few times.

"Just bored and decided to drop by. Besides, I think you people might be in need of my help," Aeridar spread his hands, raised an eyebrow, and glanced at the raging Charlotte Linlin nearby.

"This is our family business, we don't need…" Mont-d'Or started to shout in annoyance.

"We absolutely need your help."

Katakuri interrupted Mont-d'Or, staring at Aeridar. "Help me lure Mama out of the capital, and stall her for a while."
