Dressrosa, King's Plateau.
"Fufufufufu! I didn't expect you to get involved, too. Just how hated is that guy, huh? Fufufufufu~"
Wearing sunglasses and a white shirt, Doflamingo sat by the pool behind the palace, holding a gray Den Den Mushi with pink stripes. He was clutching his forehead and laughing heartily.
"I can't help it. He dared to fight me and steal my stuff. If I don't take him down, I'll be in a bad mood." The Den Den Mushi with pink stripes opened its mouth, and Aeridar's voice came through.
"Fufufufufu~ Take him down?! That's a huge move, isn't it?" Doflamingo grinned widely. "I was only planning on knocking out that guy's sales warehouse on Aznat."
"Let's go big. Let's work together to take that guy down. Doesn't that sound crazy? Hahahahaha..." Aeridar's insane laughter came from the Den Den Mushi.
"Fuffuffuffuffuffu~ That's a tempting choice." Doflamingo laughed even harder, a few veins popping out on his forehead. It wasn't because he was angry, but because he was excited.
"Just like you said, let's first wipe out all the Garfield Pirates on Aznat. It would be best to lure that bastard out; that way, our losses will be much smaller," Aeridar said coldly from the other end of the line.
"Fufufufufu~ You've even got a plan ready. How reassuring!" Doflamingo's face was ferocious. His right hand formed a claw, and several translucent strings, invisible to the naked eye, moved between his fingers. "We really need to lure that glass bastard out. His lair is a real pain to deal with."
"That's why I only sent a part of my crew to make him think I'm only planning to retaliate. It's not a good idea for me to show my face right now, Doffy. I'll leave the initial stages to you. Is that a problem?" Aeridar said calmly through the Den Den Mushi.
"No problem. I'll take care of the initial stage. You only need to show up at the end." Doflamingo had a bloodthirsty, cunning smile on his face. He extended his index finger and quickly swiped it forward.
Swoosh~
With a soft sound, a gazebo several dozen meters away on the opposite side of the pool was cleanly sliced in half.
Rumble~
The top half of the gazebo slid off slowly and fell to the ground with a thud. The cut was as smooth as a mirror, without a single rough edge.
....
New World, Fernal Archipelago.
On the largest island at the center of the archipelago, a luxurious palace-like villa sat on the highest peak. The entire palace was resplendent, with a foundation of glass tiles that made it look crystal clear and multicolored. It must have been even more stunning at night.
Inside the palace's great hall.
A handsome man in his thirties sat on a silver glass throne at the head of the hall. His long silver hair made him look even more dashing. He wore a silver suit with black stripes and green star patterns, and dark red leather shoes. He occasionally fiddled with a translucent ring on his right pinky. Inside the ring, silver lines outlined the words "Glass" and "Duke." He exuded a noble, aristocratic aura.
Duke - Garfield Caesar!!!
The captain of the Garfield Pirates, the ruler of the Fernal Archipelago, a man with a Paramecia-type Glass-Glass Fruit, and a bounty that had recently reached 870 million Berries.
Below Caesar, there were twelve glass seats in the spacious hall, placed facing each other. The two closest seats were made of red glass, while the other ten were made of white glass. However, only half of these seats were occupied, with six people of varying heights and builds sitting in them, including a woman.
One of the red glass seats was also empty. The only one occupied was the red glass seat to Caesar's left, where a muscular man in black ancient armor sat. His face was mostly covered by his helmet, making it impossible to see his features.
"My Lord Duke, even Elroy-san has gone to the Aznat battlefield. Are you planning an all-out war with the Donquixote Family?" a voice asked. It belonged to a man with long, dark green hair sitting in the third seat on the right. He had a 'V' tattoo on his chin, his legs were crossed, and he wore a black combat suit and high-top shoes, looking like a carefree slob.
Blood Ink - Jeric V. Mordo!!!
A high-ranking officer of the Garfield Pirates and ruler of the Fourth Island.
"Stop it, Mordo. The Duke just didn't send you," a bald, chubby man sitting in the fourth seat across from Mordo said with a laugh. He was holding a chicken drumstick. He then said with a tone of distaste, "We just follow the Duke's orders. Why are you talking so much?"
Gluttony - Gemick!!!
A high-ranking officer of the Garfield Pirates and ruler of the Seventh Island.
"My Lord Duke, what I don't understand is why we're stealing from the Chris Pirates while we're fighting the Donquixote Family? Has our consumption of supplies exceeded our production?"
Sitting in the second seat on the right, next to Mordo, a tall, thin man with exceptionally long legs ignored Mordo and Gemick and asked directly. This man had two-meter-long legs, as if he were from the Longleg Tribe. He had short black hair, a lean body, and bronze-colored skin. He was wearing a small black vest with a white cape with black dots on top and black boots.
Demon Leg - Harlan Borey!!!
A high-ranking officer of the Garfield Pirates and ruler of the Second Island.
"The stored supplies had just been sold when this battle with the Donquixote Family broke out. Who knew the fighting would get more and more intense, completely depleting our military supplies in the Barrid Kingdom? Even the two large shipments that followed were used up. Our production couldn't keep up with the consumption, and given the importance of the Barrid Kingdom, we had no choice but to target the Chris Pirates." A cold voice explained.
Everyone looked over. It was the muscular man in black ancient armor with a scarlet cape sitting in the first seat on the left. A three-meter-long black battle-axe leaned against the armrest beside him.
Ferocious General - Herman Ernest!!!
"Ernest-san, if the Chris Pirates and the Donquixote Family were to team up against us, it would be difficult to deal with them," Borey said with a frown. Due to the importance of the Barrid Kingdom, he had agreed to the plan of robbing the Chris Pirates, but he couldn't help but worry.
After all, the Chris Pirates were a massive organization and a globally recognized neutral party. If they provoked them, they would have to face the combined forces of the Chris Pirates and the Donquixote Family, two Warlords of the Sea. Even with the strength of the Garfield Pirates, it would be a struggle.
