Lizz thought for a moment, weighing her options. She didn't want to deny the friendship aspect entirely, but she also didn't want to fuel the romance rumors too much. "Let's just stick to the truth, Amanda. We're friends, or at least i think so, the guy is kinda hard to read, and we had lunch. Let's not overthink it."
Amanda nodded, even though Lizz couldn't see her. "Alright, sounds good. I'll draft a statement and send it over to you. Let's keep it short and sweet." As they wrapped up their conversation, Lizz couldn't help but wonder what Landon thought about all this. Was he enjoying the attention, or was he getting tired of the scrutiny?
