Kaka finished putting the puzzle together and hung it in the center of the living room. He had commissioned a jigsaw puzzle, and he had assembled it himself; it was the most beautiful puzzle he had ever completed. Kaka stared at it, lost in thought.
For the first time, he didn't see Wushuang off.
Every time Wushuang came to London, he would see her off, offering words of advice and expressing his reluctance to part. But this time, he could only listen to the sounds of planes landing and taking off. It wasn't that he didn't want to see her off; he simply hated farewells.
Before, when he saw Wushuang off, he knew she would return soon, and he would see her again soon. But this time, he knew that perhaps he would see Wushuang again years later, or… never again.
Kaka couldn't express the pain in his heart. He tried to calm his agitation and control his emotions, standing straight in front of the puzzle until Chuchu told him that Wushuang and Moyao had left.
