Chapter 37 - Three Hearts one Bond

Scene 1: A Quiet Afternoon

After the fight with Artheon, the school grants Nel a day off. Nel, Chelestar, and Azryael find themselves sitting in the library—an awkward triangle of energy between them.

Chelestar leans on Nel's shoulder, sipping iced coffee. Azryael sits opposite, pretending to read but glancing over the book every few seconds.

Chel (calmly):

"You kissed her hand after the battle. Pretty bold, Nel."

Nel (groaning):

"I was thanking her for saving me from a time fracture."

Azry (quietly):

"And you blushed when I caught you."

Nel:

"Hey! I just got punched through seven layers of spacetime."

The silence returns. Then Chel places her hand gently on Azryael's.

Chel:

"I'm not angry. Actually… I'm kinda relieved."

Azry:

"…Relieved?"

Scene 2: Chelestar's Honest Words

Chel:

"I've always known Nel's heart is… vast. Just like his powers. And I trust him. If he's going to love someone else… I'd rather it be someone like you."

Azryael stares, stunned. Her demon side flickers briefly—red eyes glowing.

Azry:

"You're strange, girl."

Chel (smiling):

"Maybe. But so are you."

Scene 3: The Pact

Nel finally speaks.

Nel:

"If I'm honest… I never wanted to choose. You're both incredible. And I don't want to hurt either of you."

Azryael and Chel share a glance.

Then—without warning—Chel kisses Nel on the cheek.

Azryael follows a moment later—on the other cheek.

Chel:

"You're ours, then."

Azry:

"Agreed. But I bite if you lie."

Nel blushes so hard he activates a mini gravitational burst under his seat.

---

Scene 4: A Warning From the Sky

Suddenly, the school trembles.

A glowing sigil appears in the sky—the mark of the Second Sibling of the Architect.

From far above, a voice whispers:

"You've passed Artheon… but you won't survive me."

Azryael stands.

Azry (serious):

"That voice… it's them. The Scorched Twin."

---

End Scene: The Calm Before the Fire

As the sigil vanishes, Chel and Azry stand beside Nel—one holding his left hand, the other his right.

Together, they face the horizon, unaware that the next challenge will test not just their strength—but their bond.
